Its like new!
Beautifully remodeled. The lobby and pool area is gorgeous and modern. The rooms are spacious with a large refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker(single cup unfortunately) and sink. The bathroom has nice fixtures and is elegant.

Enjoyed Our Stay
Our first stay, and we are glad we selected Home Towne Studios. The lobby is bright, spacious, and welcoming. The reservation staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby, hallways, and our room were clean and decorated nicely. The full-size fridge in the room was helpful. In an area with nearby places to eat.

This was a very comfortable stay. Plenty of room for two adults, very clean, and very reasonably priced. The only thing about cleanliness—the staff needs to do high dusting about once a month to get dirt off of the bathroom vent. Everything else was spotless and in very good repair. The parking lot had excellent lighting. The hotel is making some major improvements that are due to open sometime in 2025. The improvements are to the pool area and to a new restaurant inside the hotel. The only drawback was some noisy guests. We were in 232, and the guests in room 231 had some friends who were real jerks, and real drunk. They would come running to the 231, knock on the door real loud and run off. And they would have conversations in the hallway that really was just yelling—at 12:30 am. My husband opened the door a couple of times and told them to shut up and go back to their room. The guests in 231 tried to get the other guys to settle down. Would suggest some signage/verbal reminders of a quiet time rain that all guests can rest comfortably. But really—this was the guests’ fault, not the hotel.

The hotel was generally okay, but the overpowering smell of bleach or some other chemical when you enter was very unpleasant and off-putting. Our room (#104) had a King bed, but unfortunately, the HVAC system wasn’t working. I called the front desk late at night, and while the staff member said maintenance could look at it in the morning, she also offered to move us to another room. However, no King bed rooms were available, and since it was already past midnight and we were exhausted, we decided to stay in the room we had paid for. The next morning, we reminded the front desk about the HVAC issue, but when we returned for our second night, the problem still wasn’t fixed. The room remained hot and stuffy, making it uncomfortable to sleep. When I politely raised the issue again during checkout, the front desk staff was dismissive, responding with, ‘But you were offered another room.’ While this was technically true, there were no King rooms available, and her attitude made me feel as if I was being unreasonable for expecting the issue to be resolved. I found this response to be quite rude and unhelpful.

Good for the night.
We needed overnight accomodations to rest up for the last leg of our trip. The property was tidy, the lobby and our room were updated and very clean. The hallway had that 'hotel pool ' odor. The pool was closed for repairs. The hallway carpet wasn't clean.

When we got there to check in, we were told they had overbooked and then we were offered a place at the nearby red roof inn. The other hotels in town were all booked so we didn’t have much of a choice for the night. HomeTowne Studios promised us refund for the inconvenience. The red roof inn was terrible! We never got the promised refund from HomeTowne studios. I tried calling but they never answered. I went through Hotels.com and they were able to get us a partial refund, but not what we were told we would be getting. I appreciate Hotels.com trying to fix the problem, but I will not stay in a HomeTowne suites in the future - they clearly don’t keep their word.

We booked for two nights, and returned the second night to find a new guest in OUR room (key cards still worked)! Sent us across the street to another hotel that allowed pets… which literally irritated us given an allergy to cats. No attempt to discount the second night and no credit offered.
