Always stay here when visiting my parents. It's conveniently located and has a wonderful restaurant next door. The staff is friendly and the included breakfast every morning as a great variety of things to choose from.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before this last visit because it’s clean, in a safe neighborhood, and has a great restaurant next to it. The staff has always been wonderful. This time I paid almost $100 more for just myself and when the girl at front desk asked what was in my little box I told her it was my 6” leopard gecko and that it was too cold to leave her in the car. The clerk wanted to charge me a pet fee even though my pet was in a container where she would spend the night. If I had not already paid $279 for a room that I paid $160 for 2 months ago I would have walked out. I found the clerk to be borderline rude and will certainly second guess whether I should use this hotel again on my yearly trek thru Albany.
