Beautiful, well-kept resort with amazing staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The pool with the swim-up bar and the sports bar lounge were highlights, and housekeeping kept our room spotless daily. The property has great vibes, nice music, and a friendly atmosphere where it’s easy to meet new people. Staff worked tirelessly to maintain cleanliness, and the restaurants had a great setting, though Sunnakku and the steakhouse were the standouts. That said, this is definitely a party-heavy resort. Rooms had very thin walls—we could hear what sounded like housekeeping moving furniture as early as 8:00 a.m.—and sound carried through the showers and hallways. Depending on location, you may also hear stage shows until 11 p.m. Beds were uncomfortable, and food overall was subpar, aside from the two restaurants noted. We also tried the spa: therapists were excellent and consistent, but rough massage beds and outside noises (what sounded like ATVs) made it hard to fully relax. Overall, this resort didn’t fit our preference for a quiet, restful getaway. But if you’re outgoing, love late nights, and want a high-energy atmosphere, you’ll enjoy it here. The staff truly made the stay shine.

Staff at swim up bar was very rude. Restaurants were decent. Overall food was just good. The steakhouse was the best for me. Rooms and grounds were excellent. Great resort for relaxing, which was good for me. So if you’re looking to party then this isn’t the place for you. I would say nightly entertainment could be better. I’d return again. Another thing, the receptionists were very helpful.

My stay at Kukulkan was great!! The rooms were clean,quiet and very comfortable. The staff was great and Geronimo the bartender made us some amazing drinks during our stay.The buffet was really good along with the hotel restaurants. I definitely will be back and highly recommend this hotel!! Give it a 10 out of 10

I loved staying at this resort. One of the best vacations ever. Staff was amazing and very friendly. There were always an activity to do and always a party somewhere if that’s what you into. Definitely recommending.

Property was amazing, it was clean and beautiful, room was big, nice and comfy. The fact that you don’t need to make reservations for dinner was great, we were able to try all the restaurants, and food was delicious with tons of options. Servers at the pool were on point checking in all the time and bringing the refills. The only thing that they don’t have is options for nightlife inside the hotel, they do take you to other locations for parties but nothing in the hotel, but if you want to relax, this is the place for you. Will definitely return.
