I have been to Cancún all few times , this was by far the wrost experience I have ever had at an Hotel, when booking on Expedia website they have a lot false advertisement to bring in the crowds, when booking through Expedia they said that I would receive a 850.00 dollar credit that was false, upon arrival all restaurants were close and we had to wait until 6pm to eat, then when going to eat, they stated that we need a reservation which mean we had to leave the resort several time just to eat food, The customer service was horrible was unable to get any assistance , we will have to go down to the front desk just for assistance, nothing was resolved. I have never stayed at any resort that treat there paying customers the way they do. I did notice that they treat there culture better then any other culture there, I sat at the bar for 30 minutes and the bartender kept serving his his kind before serving me any my party, which we are all African American descended. I will never, never In life stay at that resort ever again. I feel as if I need full refund

I always say this when we stay in Mexico, but the staff were exceptional, incredibly friendly and accommodating. And the same is true at the Riu Palace Kukulcan. Absolutely incredible. The servers took the time to learn our names, favorite drinks, kept our glasses and belly full. Speaking of food and drink: the food at the buffet was passable but mid. The restaurants were very tasty. Drinks were delicious but seemed weak (even with double shots). The exception being the lobby bar. The lobby bar made properly strong cocktails. We did upgrade to the Elite Club and our room was on the 11th floor and had spectacular views. It also had premium liquor and snacks. We went to the Elite Club pool once, and honestly, it seemed like there was a 65+ age limit; as a mid-40's couple, we felt out of place. The pool with the swim-up bar seemed to have the best mix of service and people watching. There was plenty of shade around the pools in lounges; obviously, not in the pools... So they get very warm in the tropical sun and body heat. The rooms get ice-cold if you need them. The beds are awfully comfortable. If you're not careful, you might not leave your bed. The water pressure is a little low, but I expect that on the top floor. The water temp in the shower and sink is fantastic. It gets super-hot rather quickly if that's your thing... it's certainly our thing. The rooms were amazing. Housekeeping? No complaints, but didn't really interact with them. Our room was VERY clean.

Our stay at Riu Palace Kukulkan was a wonderful experience. The resort is beautiful as are the 4 pools and beach. The staff is amazing and all so friendly. Our room was very comfortable and had an amazing ocean view. We had dinner at all the restaurants and the food was excellent. We would definitely go back for another stay.

We had an amazing stay at this boutique adults-only hotel in Cancun. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. The room was spotless, and the ocean view was absolutely breathtaking—truly couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our first trip to Cancun. The service from the bar and restaurant staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile. Whether we were relaxing by the pool or joining in on the available activities, everything felt thoughtfully curated for both fun and relaxation. If you enjoy smaller, more intimate hotels with a personal touch, this place is a gem. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing staff, the front desk helped us with our excursion. Clean rooms, sometimes twice a day! Good property, pool with swim up bar was a bit dirty at times but that’s expected, especially towards the end of the day. Great food options, love that we didn’t have to make reservations for restaurants. Had a great stay, would definitely recommend.

The staff is very attentive and welcoming, making the stay feel comfortable from the start. The property is kept very clean, and the rooms are well maintained, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The beach itself was a little wavy during my visit, but still enjoyable.

Great staff service. Good buffet and restaurants. Awesome Ocean View. Got the Elite club, only downside of it was that I wish the bar was done being renovated at the elite pool. The construction/remodeling property next door made it hard to relax in the elite pool area too. Other than those 2 things, it was nice! Would come again.

We really enjoyed our stay. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Our check in was quick and efficient, we were probably checked in within 10 minutes of arriving. I can see this taking longer at peak times, but it looked as though there were enough people to keep things moving when it got busy. The food was good, and there was a lot of variety keeping in mind this is all inclusive that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Room was very nice…updated and comfortable. Pool service was excellent where we hung out, Ruby was friendly and checked on us frequently. There was walkable shopping and pharmacies in both directions, be sure to shop around on prices. Couple of things to be prepared for but have nothing to do with the resort or staff: The weather did not cooperate all the time, but staff had things mopped and ready to go quickly. Tons of seaweed while we were there, but still able to get in the water and there seemed to be efforts with tractors to clear some of it daily. Overall we would go back for sure!
