We had a lovely large room and could make meals if we wanted. The location was excellent for visiting the Juno Beach Visitor Centre and a wide variety of restuarants and shops

We really enjoyed staying in Joyeux Reveil! The house is beautiful and in a very quiet road but just minutes from the harbor, shops and restaurants. We had a great breakfast with homemade yohurt, jams, fresh breads and pastries and a rice pudding dish. Delicious! The apartment is very spacious with a separate living room, bathroom, toilet and bedroom. A great find!

The hostess was welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast was included and she took great pride in serving local dishes, jams and juices. Our bed was comfortable and the kids enjoyed their separate bedroom with bunk beds. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The building is very old with amazing charm. The host was wonderful. Breakfast was all homemade, including breads, pastries, jams, apple juice, a baked rice dish and even homemade yogurt (especially delicious with the apple jam). I spoke no French and my daughter spoke only a little, but we had a wonderful conversation over breakfast with the host, a marvelous lady.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room is a small apartment and very spacious. The breakfast consisted of different breads, homemade fruit preserves, coffee, juice, fruits. There is free parking across the street.

Great location and full of quirky detail.
Quirky and slightly dated but charming hotel with lovely friendly hosts. Doors have lovely old locks with big old keys adding to the character of the hotel. We stayed in a family room with the second bedroom off the first, complete with TV, microwave, crockery,kettle and complimentary biscuits etc. Great but unusual butler sink for washing up in. Great breakfast served downstairs by the hosts, with homemade yoghurt and various jams. Plenty of local information is available, some with discounts. Easy walk to the seafront and local restaurants.

Loved the homemade breakfast items, even down to the butter. Didn't speak much English but thanks to Google we were OK. Hosts were lovely and friendly. Room was like an apartment and comfortable. Well situated with plenty of parking even though it was market day so the car park opposite was out of bounds. The market was good too
