Cozy Beds and tasty breakfast

The room was wonderful and the shower hot! Loved the coziness of the bed. The only negative about the room is it was facing a huge building that was less than 20 feet away. Nothing but a metal wall for the view but the worst thing is the security light on it shines towards the hotel seeping in at the bottom of the curtains. We had to find a way to block out the light. The breakfast was really good both mornings we were there. Also, only service animals are allowed. Perfect for me!!

There was a Dairy Queen, a sports bar and a pizza place within walking distance. The beds were comfortable. We stayed two nights. On the first morning, which was a Sunday, housekeeping knocked on door and we asked them to come back later. We left about 1/2 hour later but housekeeping didn’t come back.

We stayed one night the Jacuzzi tub. Room, the room was generally clean in the bathroom and the tub. But dust in the bed area, it was ridiculous. There was a spider. The bed was terribly terribly uncomfortable for $240. I was a bit disappointed.

Family Vacation

Best location to stay for the price if you are visiting the Aquarium or Zoo. It was a quick drive to both. The Hotel itself was outdated and could use a facelift but it was clean. The kids loved the pool. For Breakfast they served Eggs and they rotated between bacon and sausage. Also had a waffle maker, cereal and bagels. If the Company that owned the place would spend money to remodel and upgrade it then it would got higher scores.

The hotel was close to interstate roads. There were several places to eat nearby, one an excellent Indian restaurant. The carpet in the hallways was old and shabby. On the 2nd floor there were stains on the carpet. The floor of the elevator was unswept; the rug, unvacuumed. Breakfast had eggs that I suspect were reconstituted dried product. As I have a gluten allergy, I could not eat them fearing they might not be gluten-free. There were no other gluten-free, nor any dairy-free, options. This is unacceptable in a time when more and more people require allergen-free foods.

Next door is a movie theater, Mellow mushroom and Dairy Queen were in walking distance. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was decent Expedia charged a lot more than I could have paid with booking direct with the motel, That was a little upsetting

A hotel stay of lullabies

The breakfast was good, you can make your own waffles and they have eggs and bacon on the ready. The bacon tastes good and I really enjoyed the orange and apple juice. I also liked my room because my room was in like a corner pocket so I really felt like I had more privacy. Plus it was very quiet and relaxing. I overall enjoyed my stay. Plus there’s a movie theater and a few food places right next store, so you have stuff to do. Plus your not so far from Ohio
