Stay away. Rating is misleading

I feel like I was mislead by the pictures and rating/review. We chose this hotel based on pictures and rating of 8.0 out of 10.0. There is no way that that many people rated this place highly. It smelled upon arrival. Nothing appeared clean. I don’t think they even took the time to clean the walls before the last paint job. Everything had an appearance of being recently updated but it must have all been manufacturing defective items. Nothing looked right. The pillows on the bed were smaller than throw pillows. There was something on the bathroom walls that appeared to be blood. The door to the balcony was unlocked when we got there and it was almost impossible to close. We did not even try to stay for breakfast. Not worthy any amount of money to stay there.

Served us well.

The room was clean. The bathroom was clean and functional, though it did show soe wear. The towels were very good and seemed to be recently updated. The room was not dark so take a mask is you are sensitive to light. The location to the highway is good.

The only good thing about this place is there was a roof over our heads. This place had a smell in the lobby. Everything in our room looked like it had been broken and then fixed by a diy’er. Breakfast on the weekend didn’t begin until 7am. Absolutely not convenient

THE PILLOWS ARE HORRIBLE!!! I really dislike leaving a bad review because, for the most part, the property was good. The breakfast was nice, the bed was fairly comfortable the AC worked well, the shower was great but there were stray hairs in the bathroom that werw offputting. The biggest problem were the tiny pillows. We stayed there to get a good nights sleep after driving 11 hours that day and 11 hours again the next but neither my husband or I slept hardly at all. The pillows are tiny, like the size of a small throw pillow, and flat. Most everything else was fine, but a seemingly small issue made our stay twrrible.

Not family friendly. There was way too many smokers outside and also had the lobby smelling like marijuana. Also there were people wondering in the hallways all night. Not lying when I say the walls are thin and you can hear EVERYTHING!

Enjoyable would stay again.

We had a great time and would stay again. Staff was very friendly. Bathroom in our room could have been a little cleaner. I wiped out the shower/tub. The building is older, but well kept overall, and has many updates to the room/Bathroom. The kitchen/dining area was beautiful and breakfast was great! Delicious waffles, eggs, biscuits, gravy, pastries/baked goods, yogurt, fruit, and 3 juices.
