Clean rooms. Not much of a beach area to swim. The language barrier was a bit frustrating especially when you wait an hour for washcloths for a family of 4 and they bring 1. So you call again and wait another hour. The air conditioner was not cooling so maintenance came to fix it but still wasn’t fixed. Called the next night and he finally fixed it. Food is alright. Not seasoned good but I’m from Louisiana where everything has Tony Chacheres in it. Overall good place.

My wife and I visited this hotel for our first trip outside the USA, and overall, our five-night stay was very pleasant. Pros: • The buffet offered a wide variety of choices, including made-to-order eggs in the morning. • Throughout the day, snacks like fresh fruit, small sandwiches, and ice cream were readily available. • The two pools overlooking the water were beautiful, and drinks were served generously and often. • The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. • Our room was clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made for a comfortable stay. • The hotel was conveniently located near the town, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and excursions—all of which could be booked right from the hotel. Cons: • One downside was the persistent pressure from staff trying to get us to attend a 1.5-hour presentation. Some of these individuals later approached us with personal side deals, which felt a bit uncomfortable. • The pool bars closed relatively early—one at 6 p.m. and the other at 7 p.m.—which felt a little too soon for a resort setting. • While the food was generally good, it could be inconsistent depending on the time of day and the restaurant. We ended up sticking with the buffet, as it was the most reliable option.

Our room was right next to the elevator and it basically clicked and banged all day long and it's not something you really notice until you're getting ready to go to sleep at night. And I pretty much makes that noise until like 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. . Other than that the property was pretty decent The food is a little bit lackluster and it's not bad it's pretty decent a lot of her just lacked taste even you know a little salt and pepper. Otherwise I really think like for your first time resort something like this is probably best. But I will know that everything was like a setup they're outside bar situations none of the soda guns worked so you got like bottled soda. So like I said everything seems to be like rigged or set up. And if you're looking to use the spa for manicures and pedicures at the moment it's only one lady doing one at a time and the pedicure station if you want to call it that is like a foot thing that you could get at home and do your at home pedicure. But either way like I said it wasn't terrible.

The room was big, the bed was huge, BUT, the air conditioner did not cool the room and had a weak ( if any) blower . The water came out brown every morning, and stopped completely at times and would at other times would just stop and sucked air. We had no hot or even warm water several days and had to take cold showers. We asked for a change of rooms and they sent someone up to look at the air conditioner and left with no change and would not change the room. The maid did a very good job. The food was very poor from the last 2 or 3 years. The pools were surrounded with green mold. The bar service was poor, and only two open at night I would recommend only people who spoke fair Spanish to stay because not many staff understood English , and all their programs were spoken in Spanish . I would recommend not getting a room in Building 1. We won’t plan on returning to this hotel again

The Grand Park Royal Cozumel has a beautiful location and decent amenities, but some comfort and quality issues made the stay less than ideal. The bed was stiff and not restful, and the shower took about 5 minutes to heat up—when it wasn’t randomly shutting off mid-use. The room does not cool below 70 degrees and feels hot at night. The buffet is fine for a day or two, but gets repetitive quickly. Thankfully, the woman making fresh omelets and eggs to order in the morning is the real MVP—her station saved breakfast. Drinks were often served warm, and most food was lukewarm at best. The staff was friendly but not particularly warm or engaging. Also worth noting: the adult bar closes at 6 PM nightly, which feels early for a resort atmosphere. Overall, it wasn’t terrible—but it wasn’t memorable for the right reasons either.

The property had great pools, 2 of which were overlooking the beach and the third was a large pool surrounded by trees. Easy access to a private beach and the resort had daily activities, we played pool volleyball and had a great time. We stayed only 1 night so had limited experience but the food was overall decent and the service/staff was welcoming. We stayed in a room on the first floor and it was large but nothing fancy or exciting. We were offered a tour of all the renovated rooms so I do expect they have nicer rooms on the property. Our family has stayed at quite a few all inclusive resorts and this one was good for a night or two but I wouldn't want to stay there a week. Hope this helps!

We absolutely love the staff, they're the best part of the resort! The main pool was in need of some love, so much debris in the pool and it looked like it hadn't been properly skimmed/vacuumed in days. The adult pool was nice but the liquor available at times was definitely lacking. Food has always been okay, but this time it was worse. We'll still be back, but we hope that there will be some improvements made.

The Hotel was beautiful and a tropical paradise however,Communicating was inadequate with staff. All the juices at the buffet were watered down with no flavor . We had to eat off property just to eat an enjoyable meal. This property was all inclusive with great service and drinks from the bar however we left the Italian restaurant because it was so cold and the food was inedible. We scuba dived for two days which was wonderful and visited Paridise city day park on our 5th day but I believe my drink was drugged with something. My husband attended to me until we could get me back to the hotel. We would recommend Paridise city park but be careful to never leave your drink unattended.I don’t know what would have happened if the people and was such great staff and my husband never leaving my side . I only had 2 drinks and I am a nurse . This was not normal. I left my drink and went for a short swim . I finished my drink and became violently sick and did not remember anything else. PLEASE WATCH OUT when visiting there. Theresa and Brian D. Las Vegas NV.
