I liked the see and how quiet it was. That was my best thing in that stay. Also property is properly maintained. That is all i can say in plus about it!! What I didn't like was the customer service which was very slow and, at times, inefficient. It looks like there is not enough food ALL THE TIMES. The food was not replenished in time, leaving guests with poor choices. The other weird thing was the water. Your table has six people, and there are only four glasses all the time. The glass is empty, and you have to ask for water. Also, it is never replenished until you ask. That is really not usual in all all-inclusive resorts. They also make sure you don't drink too much because running out of alcohol of your choice is very common. I can go on and on, but it's interesting not to see it in the reviews. When I talked to the guests, they were all surprised with all those things in a 4.5-star resort review. In my opinion, it should be 2.5-3 at most. I hope future guests will take that into consideration when paying and expecting excellence and finding poor service.

the property shows well with the tropical vegetation but we found the buffet dinner to be the same bland meals poor with very little variety (mostly mexican for dinners). The 3 Specialty restaurants were not up to what we had expected. I believe the chefs are trying too hard, and present the food in a pile, hard to cut a steak when it is on top of mashed potatoes, presents nice but not practical when you go to cut your steak as it slides around. Good luck if your building is anywhere near the entertainment area and most buildings will be affected by it between 9-10pm . Only one bar is open to have an evening drink or two and that bar is near the front desk, nothing available down by the beach front in the evening. Would we go back . . . nope!

Five day stay for diving. Staff was very nice, facilities were very clean. Food was excellent and there was bacon every morning at breakfast! Check in was characteristically slow. Taxis to town are now $20.

They need refillable water stations for your water bottles. Shouldn’t be giving out plastic water bottles to everybody. Also had no balcony and it was really hard to dry my stuff. I am a scuba diver, so I had a lot of stuff to get dry!

Property doesn’t look like the listing, pictures are from many years ago (ie beach is half the size as pictured). Doesn’t have as many pools as listed. Dinners require formal attire (who brings pants on vacation to Mexico). Due to this buffet is only option. Food was decent but repetitive. Staff was awesome, really tried to make everything awesome. Area and excursions were great!

We appreciated the proximity to the beach, which was both clean and well-maintained. The abundance of wildlife around the property and in the ocean added a special touch to our experience. The food was decent, but we would have liked a greater variety of tropical fruits. Additionally, the à la carte restaurants lacked sufficient seating, filling up quickly and making it difficult to secure a reservation. Among them, only the beachfront restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, while the other two felt confined and lacked atmosphere. The New Year’s menu at the main buffet was thoughtfully curated and well-executed. As for the nightly entertainment, some evenings were excellent, while others fell short of expectations. On the downside, the noise from neighboring rooms, the floors above, and the music from the main plaza was disruptive. On our last day, the water supply was unexpectedly shut off for several hours, which was inconvenient. We also felt there weren’t enough water activities available on the property. Guests had to walk to the neighboring property to access kayaks and sailboats, which was disappointing.

The property is nicely located but the food at this resort is so bad. I assume that is why it is so much cheaper than other resorts. I was sick several times after eating. The fish, shrimp, and meat are so overcooked that they are mealy. The food is the lowest quality and overly salted. I got to the point where I ate nothing but rolls, granola, packaged yogurt and some fruit. The desserts are indescribably bad across the board. The place could benefit from some guidance from knowledgeable chefs and pastry chefs. While the setting is lovely it’s like a cheesy beach party much of the time at the pool and beach with loud announcers conducting competitions and music pounding. Forget relaxing to the beautiful sunset; the loud staff is always trying to stir up the crowd. Overall service is slow and the place would benefit from some updated online services so guests didn’t have to go to the main building everytime they wanted to make a dinner reservation. Overall the nightly entertainment is amateur. The restaurants blare awful jazz and the noise in the buffet is unbearable with plates and cutlery being loudly stacked. It’s really too bad how cheesy the whole experience is because the grounds and water are beautiful. I gave this place two chances because of its proximity to beautiful diving and onsite dive shop, but the place is anything but relaxing and no discount is worth being sick from food.

The property and grounds were beautifully managed. Our room was clean and stocked daily with drinks, towels etc. a couple things we were disappointed about was when we arrived to check in we were immediately asked to take a quick tour of the facilities and asked to sign up for a free stay giveaway that was only for Americans. After a long travel day I was not interested but said yes just to get away from the pressure of the consierge due to being exhausted. Also having to book a dinner each day was a hassle as my husband waited in line for 30 minutes one morning and then while we were eating at the reservation restaurant other people were allowed to walk in to eat without a reservation. We paid for the all inclusive option to make meals stress free and this experience with having to reserve a spot daily was stressful. Although our stay wasn’t perfect I’d still recommend this vacation spot to my friends and family due to the easy access to the beach.
