Stayed for one night after an over-night flight from Toronto. The location was 10 min from Gatwick. The staff was courtesy and professional. My room was spacious and well equipped with a microwave and fridge, coffee/tea and cookies, which were a nice touch. Took advantage of the black-out drapes for an afternoon nap. The bed was perfectly firm. Also went for an after dinner swim—the pool was comfortably warm—and ate at the bar for dinner. The steak salad was excellent. I had sent a message inquiring about getting to the hotel from the airport, and Tatjana replied within 24 hours with lots of detailed options for me. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were excellent. We asked about the metro system snd they were eager to help. The breakfast was amazing. We bussed to sn from the airport for 3 pound per person. Greay way to get around.

The hotel is ok, but it is certainly not the 4-star property that it claims to be. The lobby is renovated and modern, but the upper floors and rooms are very dated. It's also located alongside a busy roundabout so street noise can be a problem depending upon which side of the hotel that you are on. The location is not very convenient for an airport hotel and it a 25 pound cab ride to Gatwick. I also found some of the staff members to be unfriendly and at one point while standing waiting to ask a question felt as though I was being ignored. If you're looking for a place to spend one night before an early flight out of Gatwick, this place does suffice but don't expect a 4-star stay.

Excellent Hotel with Pool

This hotel is excellent for staying at while travelling . Bed comfort superb and swimming pool a bonus. Simon checked us in very quickly and super customer service. Staying again in 10 days.
