Great comfort. A home from home ambience!

Great stopover country hotel! Very comfortable! Mini fridge in each room! But bring your own evening food! Excellent Breakfast only! Friendly & welcoming staff. Great value too!

Trivelles Hotel is a perfect stopover whether for business or pleasure! Close proximity to the airport it is an ideal unique brand country Hotel! Staff are friendly & welcoming and cater to your requests. Rooms Extremely clean & comfortable with mini fridge! Great value too! Recommended!

A last minute booking to get to Gatwick airport the next morning. We were plesantly surprised with our room. Lovely view, comfortable bed. It was silent apart from planes going over! As we were there to go to the airport that didnt bother us. We'd happily stay there again.

I deliberately chose the dearer of the two Trivelles hotels, Waterhall, but on arriving I was told I had been "upgraded" to the other hotel, Gatwick. On transferring, I found that my "upgraded" room had no aircon or even a fan, (in a heatwave). The TV was mounted askew on the wall, and didn't work. The receptionist said that the remote needed new batteries, but he returned the remote with the original mismatched batteries. He said he'd find a replacement remote, but was never seen again. There were two working lights in the room (one central, one bedlight, the other one not working). Despite a total of six switches, the bedlight didn't operate independently of the central light. What idiot wired the room? The common parts stank.

I left after the first night - even losing two nights of a three-night reservation because of their non-refundable policy. —There was a safety concern with no stair railing on the last set of stairs to my room. —The heated towel rack is so close to the toilet, I was unable to sit properly on the toilet because the towel rack was burning my leg. —the bathroom sink was just barely a sink. —the carpet seemed soiled - definitely not fresh and clean. I didn’t even want to go barefoot on it. —the room generally felt unsanitary - marks on the walls, the unwiped counter surface in the bathroom, the long curtains hanging to the floor, a general feeling of uncleanness. I couldn’t wait to leave when I woke up at 6:30. AND, the room was just SO SMALL I couldn‘t hardly move and definitely did not have any room for opening my suitcase. AND, the photo in the ad does not show the hotel. Instead, I think it must be a picture of a building in town. SUB PAR!!!

It was easy to find . But room was small and out dated . I know that's what you get in an old hotel . But curtains were ripped on the inside and wall paper coming off the walls . We had a room that faced the garden but there was old washing lines and ladders that u could see . It was a shame

Perfect stay!

Our stay at Trivelles was perfect. We had a friendly greeting, our room was comfortable and clean and we had everything we needed. In a pretty location too, with a couple of really nice pubs nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Did not bear any resemblance to the photos on the website. The property was tired, tatty and in need of a total refurbishment. There was only one member of staff on duty the afternoon of the day we arrived and the same person when we checked out. Totally disinterested and not helpful at all. We had paid for breakfast x3 on booking, but was told it didn’t show up on their records?? Total sham, certainly will not be recommending this place to anyone, very disappointing.

Property is clean but a bit tired ,tvs dont work properly can only get 1 channel ,the bath was dangerous ,like standing on a sponge but the bedding was clean .My son stayed in another room but I think they over booked and he landed up in a loft room ,no television at all ,could just fit in the shower and had aeroplanes flying over every few minutes ,he couldnt close the window as it was to warm ,avoid this room if you get offered it .
