Elvis would have loved this place if he would have visited here in 1958. And the advertised “flat screen” TV was in reality an ancient — and huge — old console. It didn’t matter, though because it didn’t work.

I’d consider this a good property for the area, which has limited choices. It was more comfortable than we expected, and it was clean and quiet. The bed was not queen size as advertised though - it was a full size instead.

Woodsman Country Lodge was an older 1-story motel on the busy highway between Klamath Falls and Bend. It was fine for a reasonable, overnight stay getting from here to there. If one likes hunting and the outofdoors you would love these Paul Bunyan-themed rooms. Very quaint and woodsy. But the rooms were clean, the linens fresh and the bed comfortable. There was a reasonably priced restaurant/tavern right next door. Despite the immense amount of traffic spinning by the front of the motel, the room itself was quiet, and we had a comfortable night's sleep.
