Nice hotel and friendly staff. Only complaint was a few outlets in our room didn’t work and there was no ac and only a tiny window in the 2nd room away from the bed so our room never cooled down

Been staying here for years. Stay from 7/15-7/17/25 was the worst. The condition of the rooms and management has gone down hill each year. No wonder everyone is trying to sell these owner units. This is NOT a hotel. It is some condo form of ownership and you don't get good treatment. Property management folks are young kids who just say "no" to every request. they have no experience and are clueless. The "Front Desk" has been moved to a side room and is only open limited hours. There was a lamp on the floor next to the couch so now table. Somebody put in a new cheapo shower sprayer that sprayed right or left but not into the tub. The soap, shampoo and conditioner bottles would not pump and the tops came off. The TV would to turn on. This is a bad place. In my personal opinion based upon my personal experience I would NOT stay here. Go elsewhere while in Crested Butte. Oh and the folks who park in the adjacent lot come in to use the facility for free and there is no security to prevent them from doing so.

Perfect location for exploring the area. Liked the shuttle you can hop on to get downtown. Clean and spacious rooms but odd configuration. Did not like the bedroom right when you walk into the door. Lots of slamming doors from nearby rooms.

The hotel has gone down in the past several years. For this stay: - The room had a musty not fresh odor - There was not a box fan in the room - The front desk person was not overly helpful to several people who had questions - The front desk person was not interested in solving the fan issue - The hot tub jets do not work - Allowing people to smoke outside brings that smell into the rooms - Seems like the restaurant changes times every time we visit and the front desk didn't know when they were open and closed

Fun in CB!

We had a great time in CB! There was plenty of space in our room for 6 of us. Coffee is nearby and the free town shuttle helped us get into CB very easily.

No Television due to nonpayment of cable bill

For starters, Hotels.com hasn't returned any of my messages about my trip. Grand Lodge Crested Butte is a nice Lodge BUT unknown to us the suites are owned by separate owners. Our Suite had 2 tvs that weren't working, so we called maintenance, they told us that the owners of the suite hadn't paid their cable bill, so no tv for us! The last night of our stay the Lodge said they could move us but at that point, not worth it. Ive written 3 times to Hotels.com to please give us a portion of our bill back in compensation and heard nothing. Also none of the ice machines worked. The restaurant & gift shop were closed the whole time and there were no vending machines. The employees were very nice and the lodge is very clean though.

We had an excellent room on the end, so we had windows all around which we loved. Only drawbacks were the Elevators not working and being on the 5th floor, and also cable tv did not get good reception.
