One night stay for a local wedding. Friendly, helpful staff. Smartly decorated room. Delicious breakfast. Weren’t there long but was very pleasant and would recommend.

Thin mattresses, tired room

This hotel was right on the route I needed to be on, and in that sense it was great. However, despite my warning them of my late arrival, I had to wander around and find someone to ask to check in. Staff were very dismissive. The room was really hot, happily they had a fan. The radiator was off, but the pipe on the wall was basically another radiator! The biggest issue was that the mattress was old/cheap and very thin. The duvet was extremely cheap polyester. These things combined made it rather uncomfortable. I would not stay here again - there's a Travelodge nearby that will be more comfortable.

Could do better, much better!

Unfortunately the room stayed in was very tired and very hot. We had to keep the window open all night but as the car park was directly outside, we were kept awake. I used the hotel checkin emailed to me but couldn’t find anyone on arrival. The complimentary Continental Breakfast was very poor. Bread not fresh, no yogurt and pastries stale. What a shame.

Awful

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Room smelt like stale beer/pub. Carpet was dirty, had hair all over it. TV didn’t work. Room advertised wasn’t the room I received. I paid for a room advertised with a bath, I got a completely different room. This hotel advertises the double rooms with the picture of their suites, false advertising!!! Food in the pub is awful too.
