While this hotel was not in the city of Lagos, it was an easy drive to the downtown area and waterfront. Set among the old homes in a quaint area. The lady who runs it was wonderful and very helpful with suggestions where to eat and how to get downtown. For a non-discriminatory traveller on a budget. This is a wonderful place to stay.

The beds should be changed for more comfort. If your guests don’t have a good night sleep they will not be happy.

From the moment you arrive, the beauty of the hotel is striking. Walking in feels like stepping into a peaceful sanctuary. Everything about the design, setting and atmosphere immediately creates a sense of serenity. The staff are wonderful and beautifully attired. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with its own private pool, and it was simply stunning. The layout and design were exceptional. Both bedrooms were beautifully done, and the bathrooms deserve a special mention; there are two, each with enormous standalone baths and huge enclosed showers. The space, design and attention to detail made the apartment feel incredibly luxurious. We visited Café Central for breakfast and lunch because we liked the peaceful vibe and found the fresh pastries, coffee, and variety of dishes to be wonderful. Sitting there quietly with a coffee was a lovely way to spend an hour of the day, and the gentleman Pedro, who works there, is absolutely charming. Overall, it has felt like a real privilege to stay at the Viceroy. It is a truly special place that combines beautiful design, outstanding service and complete tranquillity. The only problem is that you have to check out, and honestly, you won’t want to. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this stay so memorable.

A lovely hotel reception, the staff were very polite & helpful. Our room was very spacious & clean. Some parts of the hotel could do with some tlc. The pool beside the outside bar was surprisingly dirty. No cocktails in the AI unless paid to upgrade to the premium AI.
