Great resort for a family ! Breakfast was good but I wouldn’t consider it to be a buffet as I feel like they could have a little more options for breakfast. Daily room service and room clean to the T.

Fantastic stay but staff needs to be more attentive.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Princess Heights. The hotel was very clean and well kept. We had a broken microwave and when we called about it, it was switched out the next day. It was sometimes difficult to get in contact with the staff being that they usually left right after 5pm. I also would recommend, using taxis if staying at this hotels. The mountains and hills getting up to the resort are no joke. Overall, it was a great stay.

We have stayed at La Playa for the last 5 years. This is a great location for people not wanting to drive after dark. The restaurants of Orient Village or Ti Palms are right next door. Excellent French and Italian dining! There is a small grocery even closer that has a good selection and will save you a trip to the Match or Super-U. If you want to skip the included breakfast, the Good Morning is a great alternative for French pastries. We do not use the beach at the hotel, only because we meet up with friends on another part of the beach. This year, we noticed that the included breakfast buffet has improved with increased fruit and pastry selections. However, minor things like salt and pepper shakers not working still persist. Also improved is the TV channel selection with the addition of the Miami network stations. We stayed 15 nights this time. The bed was comfy, the refrigerator kept my Heineken cold, and the air-conditioning was killer! La Playa is my recommendation for anyone wanting to stay on the French side in the Orient Beach area.

While I didn’t spend enough time at the hotel itself but location is very central to getting around. Maho beach is literally across the parking lot but I wouldn’t waste my time there. Service was good no staff professionalism issues, pool is a nice infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Gym is solid cardio machines, dumbbells, rowers, and cable machine. Rooms are clean, large and nice decor. Observation deck is quiet and nice at night. Runway view is going to be disappointing so stick to the pool and ocean view rooms if budget allows. If you have a late flight hotel does have changing rooms but it doesn’t have a shower.
