Feels like the best hotel in DaNang centre

Very reasonable price for the location, the level and quality of service, quality of food and beverage (especially since price includes breakfast) and the quality of the facilities and state of the property as it looks fairly new. For the price paid, feels like we were in a 4* hotel

What a great team at the New Orient.

The staff at NOH was so caring and attentive it made our stay. The extra attention to detail really was the cherry on top. Would recommend! Mya even gave us great recommendations for our next stop on our adventure. Top notch.

Beautiful Hotel on the Han River

This hotel is nicely located near the Han River......night club next door which did keep us awake for two nights late into the night - that was unfortunate as the room was wonderful and the bed a delight! Oh well. My favourite part of the hotel was the staff. The Vietnamese are welcoming and apparently trained well in hospitality. There were three from the staff that seemed to go the extra mile and they were Rose, Felix and Hoa (spa) and Hoang (7th floor restaurant). But, honestly, the staff was memorable and such always makes for a pleasant stay. My wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and the hotel knew and decorated our bed upon arrival and gave us a delicious anniversary cake. It's the human touch that always makes a difference. We recommend this hotel - but, ask for a room in the back if you are concerned about the nightclub activity. Thanks all!

Really great property to stay in, the staff were very friendly and great. Best part of the hotel is their wide variety of breakfast selection (which tasted great). We spent the beginning of tet lunar with this hotel so it was great to see the preparations for the new year. Unfortunately I did not get to use much of their amenities but enjoyed staying the hotel itself. The room was quiet and the bed soft, the only downside to the hotel is the property’s location other to that I would strongly recommend this hotel.

The room was very well appointed and the bathroom was very spacious with a tub and shower. The hotel was new and had a beautiful floral scent. There was a glass floor around the breakfast buffet which made eating at this restaurant a very unique experience. Most of all, I felt supported and looked after by Rose. She contacted me before the trip with ideas on how to spend my few days in Danang. I was very unorganized but when she was able to book me activities and tours even on late notice. She arranged for early check in and even met me at the hotel entrance as soon as we arrived on the property. She was so amazing that even on very short notice, she managed to have a personalized birthday cake made and delivered to our hotel. Rose was so kind, genuine and helpful. She helped me even late into the evening to help prepare our itinerary for the next day. She made my stay in Danang so memorable as I never had anyone stay in touch with me the entire stay. I highly recommend this hotel and one would be so lucky to meet Rose and have her look after you.

Nice room

Nice hotel room. Clean and comfortable. Very spacious room and nice balcony. House keeping was great and provided iron and ironing board very quickly. Friendly staff. Nice and relaxed roof top bar, great views. Excellent massage, however items included as part of the package deal such as soup, fruit and ginger tea was not provided at the end - maybe run out or forgotten, however the massage was great and professional. Location is fine to reach some bars and coffee shops nearby.

I stayed here overnight as a break from taking the rail from Hanoi to Saigon. November isn't the best time to visit Danang as it was pouring down rain the entire time, but the hotel was a great experience! The breakfast on the top floor is fantastic and it has a great view of the city around it. The pool looks like a tropical oasis (even if it was cold to swim in). I did use the hotel car service to visit Hoi An, which was quite magical, even in the downpour, and to travel to the train station.

Pretentious, but vacuous, large hotel

After staying in an average of 90 hotels a year for some time, it was dissappointing to have to award this one as most patronising and condescending. We were treated with contempt and utter indifference by most staff from the moment we arrived. The vibe we got from the restaurant sent us across the road to a great little barbeque place. A private party was being prepared on the top floor, which we couldn’t access to assess for future stays, which of course will never happen.

I love the new orient hotel in Da Nang. From the moment you walked into a new hotel, you have a fear and doubt and want to verify that all the reviews are true to the fact. My personal experience prove that is true. New orient hotel is five star experience: staffs in the lobby is very kind and caring. They provided umbrella in rainy days. They opened the car doors with other hands making sure I do not hit the frame of the car when I hop in. Staffs in the second floor is kind and efficient. Especially a staff named Rose provided the chat/texting assistance service throughout my stay in hotel. She took care of me daily from if the room is feasible to my stay, travel maps, best time to visit han market, etcs. O was especially moved when she changed my room to a better location and place when I complained about the noise from party. She originally gave me a higher floor and shifted to a same level with quiet atmosphere. I think she provided me with the very best attitude. She represents what the new orient hotel is about. Last time, I stayed in vin-pearl waterfront. But I like this new orient hotel better in luxury room, cleanness, staff service, etc. i will come back next time to stay here again.
