Hotel is relatively new. Rooms are pretty spacious. Kept clean. Spa services were great. Breakfast items at the buffet were oftentimes cold, so that should be remedied. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Our guest relations representative Uyen really set the bar high for this hotel. We were promptly greeted from the airport and shuttled directly to the hotel. Water and cold towels were provided during our shuttle ride to the hotel to help cool down from the Vietnam heat. Our bags were taken care of from the airport all the way to our room. We literally did not have to lift a finger. Uyen had put together a very detailed guide to all the amenities and services that the hotel has to offer and was very patient with any and all questions that we had. The Peninsula hotel was immaculately well kept; cleanliness, hospitality, and quality service were definitely on top of their list. The hotel had a delicious breakfast buffet served every morning starting from 6 AM, with a rotating selection. Also an afternoon lunch buffet was offered from 2PM to 5PM in the royale lounge and should be enjoyed at every possible opportunity, the Vietnamese coffee on the menu has to be the best coffee I’ve ever had. The hotel is right across the street from the beach, and the staff will kindly escort you across the street if you aren’t familiar with crossing the street in Vietnam. The rooftop pool has a beautiful view overlooking the beach and a good spot to watch the sunrise and set. You will find yourself feeling very at home here and may even consider extending your stay. 4 days was not enough for my first stay at the Peninsula, I will be finding my way back here as soon as I can.

Fabulous room and ocean view. Swam in sea, so warm. Loved the pool area. I had my first ever coconut there. Would have like a yoga mat option in my room. Was not allowed to take one from the gym to use in my room. Cleanliness and upkeep of room not great. Coffee spill on ceiling and picture, scuffs all on walls, crumbs still on floor etc. My worst room so far in that sense. Not what I expect from 5*. Service perfect. Ordered transport to Hue for me too. Great free afternoon tea. Thank you. Breakfast very good, lots of fresh options. Used the free steam too, that was nice.

I felt the hotel is just an average. The room is spacy and has a good ocean view, and I like it. But the biggest problem is the lack of smiles on the employees' faces. A man in the dining place gave us smiles. Other staff members seldom gave us smiles even when we greeted. It must be tough to greet every customer with a smile, I know. But I wished every staff member could give us a smile if I stayed at 5 star hotel.

Excellent service at all times. Staff were friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. Only issue was the lack of sufficient staff at the roof-top bar in the evenings - they were very pleasant and helpful, but it took a while for drinks to arrive when there were more than two groups of customers there.

We stayed in the Peninsula Suite, which can only be described as a two bed, two bathroom apartment. It is massive and great value for money. As part of the price you get afternoon tea in the Royal Lounge as well. The views from the roof are superb as well as the room. The staff are friendly and the food is good quality. Lovely end to our stay in Vietnam.

I’m an English speaker and most of the staff spoke very limited English, but tried hard to help. The WhatsApp number provided a great way to ask questions in English. The rooftop bar had a good burger and the pool area is shaded in the afternoon providing a great place to hang on hot summer afternoons.
