A surprisingly restful and nurturing DFW stop-over that makes guest comfort seem easy. Started well w online registration the day prior, meaning no lines to wait in when already travel-weary. A highly competent staff that works peacefully together, meaning no managers hovering on brooms or background staffing noise. The hotel restaurant was most atypical...felt like having a fab dinner prepared in the home of a friend. Real food prepared w a genuine desire to nourish and please, served hot from the stove top with gentle grace and ease. Maybe I caught a zen wave that cant be repeated, but that's my experience!

When I first walked into this hotel it looks amazing but once I got to my room I was very uncomfortable with the cleanliness of my room. there was hair pieces in the bathtub, dust on the runner on the bed. After I showered, in the humidity you could see so much dirt on the walls in the bathroom. I was honestly disgusted and grateful that I only had to survive 10 hours before heading to the airport. Also, one of the reasons I chose this hotel was the hot tub looked nice- when I went to use it I was told there were no jets and it just was what it was. It looked dirty and there was no point in using it at that point. On the bright side, shuttle was super convenient. I would find a different accommodation my next time in Dallas.

Water in the shower smelled highly chlorinated, if I had more blonde I would’ve skipped getting my hair wet. If you’re over 5’4, good luck in the shower. I had to slouch. If you’re under 5’4 or older/stiff bodied, good luck getting up into the tall bed. Hotel wings are built weird, front desk sent me clear across the building despite having a map and it took forever to get to my room. After a long travel day, this was unpleasant. Otherwise, hotel was clean, safe for solo women.

This is a very old and outdated property connected to some type of party venue that looked very sketchy. I did not feel safe parking my car in the parking lot or staying in this hotel. In my opinion, this is not a safe place for a single female traveler or anyone with a nice car. It feels like a place where prostitutes take their customers. That's the feel it has.

The frint desk help was terrible. When we first arrived we were going to pay for early check in, then we had to wait because the room wasn't ready...4 hours later we finally got to check in. The front deak lady never gave us directions on how to use the outdoor pool...its tucked away and you need a code to enter and exit, we had a dirty blanket that i asked to be replaced, which never was. It would be nice if the front desk offered things to do while waiting, such as use the pool. I had to practically beg to use the indoor pool while we waited. The breakfast was alright...no directions on how to use the waffle makers...i actually helped some of the other guests! There was a nice variety of food and beverage though. The one really great employee was the gentleman who drove the shuttle, he was GREAT!!! The front desk personel could take some lessons on how to treat guests from him! I wish i remember his name, but he was from near Philly and he was the highlight of staying here!
