The hotel is dirty holes in sheet and smell like a strip joint me and wife could not stay the one night we went to a next hotel because she felt unsafe this place is in need of some upgrades although it might be cheap Fairfield right next door was 20 dollars more and is 5 star compared to this property

The breakfast was a joke, a few slices of bread, muffins, and jam. Folgers instant coffee. Very rundown building with uneven stairs and walkways.

If you check in after a certain time, you have to check in through a window and I was not a fan of that. Otherwise, you basically get what you paid for. Checking out was very nice and pleasant though!

Hotel was fine
Hotel was fine, but there needs to be some sort of mat or something for the shower. Its very slippery in there and I can see someone falling and cracking their head on the wall. Yes there are bars in the shower, but something as simple as a shower mat or something that just provides a semi non slip surface in the tub could save someone a trip to the hospital.

A GREAT ECONOMICAL SAFE PLACE TO STAY
The only complaint was that the carpet was dirty -- but it was on the ground level so people walking directly in from outside with dirty shoes would cause the carpet to get dirty. It was right next to Denny's restaurant which was perfect because it was open 24 hours a day. The staff was exceptional trying to make everything as great as they could. I was also happy because I felt very safe as it was in a hotel district and a good area.

Disappointed.
I paid and booked a room with king size bed in February, I was traveling the first week of May. I requested a none smoking in the special request slot during booking. When I got to the hotel, I was told they have a smoking room request for me. I said no, his reply was, yes ma’am. I have it here. I pull up my original booking information and showed it to him. I was told at that moment that all their king size room are smoking rooms. I was offered a room with two queen beds, both bed spreads have multiple cigarette burns on them. The room is infested with cockroaches and tons of black flies coming from the drain in bathroom and tub. Carpet was dirty.

In the 2 star rated class, this Days in rates a 10. We found the Days Inn to perfectly suited for our needs. There was a fridge, microwave, coffee and shampoo, in the room. George at the front desk was very welcoming and shared some recommendations for barbeque. The breakfast was basic but provided what you needed to start the day. The location gave access to Ferris Wheelers BBQ, the Rodeo Goat Burger Restaurant and the Meddlesome Moth, all three of which were worth visiting. Overall, it is a location we would certainly choose again for a future trip to Dallas.

Ok motel with some drawbacks
We had an ok experience, cleanliness is ok, location is ok, price was great. A few things I didn't like - bathroom door had no lock, carpets were old, one of my bedsheets had a small hole in it, the microwave had rotary controls, shower was slippery. Bed, linens and pillows were ok, location is good - a few min from downtown. The fridge, TV, heater worked fine. They advertised breakfast but had none, instead we were given a 20% coupon for Dennys next door which was ok but we would have preferred a breakfast.
