Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. I arrived 2 hours before check in, but the gave me my room w/o any issue. I appreciated that.
The front desk area and lobby are very nice. When you go into the cafe, there are lots of faux leather chairs that are peeling, which gives me the ick. It was clean and the breakfast included was excellent. They had a waffle bar, bagels, muffins, toast, egg & cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, cereal, fresh fruit cut and whole, 4 types of juice, coffee, milk, and hot chocolate. You will find something to suit you.
The room itself was a very good size and included a wet bar w/ small fridge, microwave, and sink. The couch/pull out bed area was sad. There were stains on the fabric and the faux leather was peeling. Ick factor again. There was a large desk w/ rolling chair and 42”tv. It was highly useful. The king bed was comfortable. The bathroom had an ick factor. The wallpaper was peeling, the doorway mounding was not flush with the wall, there were paint drops on the laminate floor, the toilet didn’t flush at certain times of the day, and the shower ceiling had black smudges and crud.
The entire room had a musty smell. It was like wet dog and ashtray combined. It was so bad I went to target, purchased all purpose cleaner and Mrs. Meyers lavender air freshener. I then spent about an hour cleaning the bathroom, room, and deodorizing all soft surfaces.
