The property was supposed to have breakfast. Instead there was a tiny basket of gas station mini-muffins. The steps and hallways were filthy not just needing a carpet sweeper, but truly disgusting.
My room was barely clean and extremely outdated and dingy. The televisions in both rooms did not work the first night. The parking lot was littered with trash.
I would have moved, but there were no rooms at an affordable price anywhere near my convention. It was the worst place ever for me, and I travel a lot.
I picked this hotel for its location close to the Addison Kaboom Town fireworks display. That’s about the only thing going for it. The lobby was small but clean, but when we turned the corner down the hall, the problems started to be revealed. The elevator was broken so we had to take the stairs. At first we were assigned to a room on the second floor. When the key card failed, we returned to the front desk to get the card re-coded. That happened twice before we were reassigned to a third floor room. The carpet on the stairs was filthy and torn. The room was relatively clean but in poor condition. The bathroom door stuck on the floor so you couldn’t fully open it. The shower curtain rod was bent so the curtain didn’t meet the wall. The hair dryer switch was broken so you had to plug/unplug it to use it. Towel racks were rusty and flaking. Breakfast area looked clean but no breakfast was set up. I expect a certain level of quality from ANY place in Addison, but this hotel did not meet it and is not worthy of a Hotels.com listing. At least the bed was clean and comfortable.
This hotel should be condemned. It and the room was in bad condition. The elevator was broken when i checked in. I was told this AFTER i checked in. And of course there were no rooms available on the first floor. A nice guest offered to help carry my luggage upstairs. The entire place smells like wet musty moldy carpet. My room wreaked of old wet dog. My bathroom ceiling had sooo much black mold. The stove top irons were sooo rusted. There were gnats flying everywhere in the room. The hallway was dim and didn't feel safe. My curtains and wall had, what I'm sure, was blood splatter on it. Don't stay here. I booked 2 nights and checked out the morning after the 1st night.
We booked our 2 night stay on hotels.com and the photos weren’t bad online. We arrived on site and there was trash all in the parking lot, which is fine if someone would clean up in a regular basis. We checked in and went up to the room and the staff had no idea that there were guys working in the ac in that room. Good on their part for making sure guys were making sure ac was fixed but not too good on their part that they didn’t keep up with the fact the room was occupied at the time. We got a new room and the tvs wouldn’t work at all. We went to the front desk and they loved us rooms again. The third room was fine. The next day we went downstairs to get ice and there was a roach on the ice maker. Hallways smelled like marijuana the whole stay. Also on the last day when we were packing up to leave my husband found a baby roach in the bathroom of the room we stayed in. It wasn’t too expensive so we didn’t cause a big fuss but staff really need to do better. The night shift front desk lady was super sweet though!
Elevator was broken and the stairwell to the rooms was disgusting. Cockroaches and other bugs in the room, coffee maker was broken and they didn’t replace it. The AC worked well.
I showed up for kaboom town but after wards when we went to the room there was roaches in the tub, walls, crawling up the bed sheets and room smelled of mothballs… worst hotel I’ve been to and will not be returning. The lady at the desk was of no help and responded as if she does not have any care as she has accepted all the complaints and feed back as it is a norm.
This hotel looked nothing like the pictures they showed. Before even making it to the room the elevator was out and our room was on the 3rd floor. Making it to the stairs, it was a bad odor and it looked like the carpet and walls never been cleaned. First room we got the bed was broke everything was dirty and stained. Even the sheets had stains on it. She agreed to switch our room but wanted us ,the guest, to put the room back together so they can rent it to somebody else. Which I found disturbing. So we finally switched rooms and granted this room was a little bit however the couches looked old and didn’t even match, there was nets every where and even a ROACH on the wall. Wish I could give this place 0 stars. They definitely need to update the pictures and show people what it really looks like now. Don’t stay here unless you wanna kill roaches and have nets all over your food while youre trying to eat.

No elevator was out my entire stay needs pest control in room. Shower curtain rods need to be installed correctly so curtain will stay closed. Breakfast was late during our stay so we did not get to experience that portion. Front desk was ok
DO NOT STAY HERE. This establishment is an embarrassment to the Choice Hotels name.
Wires hanging from ceiling where smoke detectors should be). Security latches on doors broken or missing, elevator broken 4 of the 7 days we stayed. Broken or non functioning amenities, dirty and stained carpets, and the list goes on.
I heard another guest call this a “roach motel”. That about sums it up.
This property is 0/0. The elevators was out of order. I checked out earlier than my checkout date. The a/c was not working properly. The carpet was stained. The property gave an old smell. The internet/ cable was out for the entire stay. I was informed the cable company was there the first day to fix it which was a lie. Breakfast was suppose to start at 7am. 8am I went to grab breakfast and the area where breakfast was suppose to be served was filled with boxes. I went to the front desk to ask where the breakfast was being served and a basket full of donuts and pastries was pulled out and said this was the breakfast.
I’m a wheelchair user who reserved an accessible room however their elevator was out of service. When attempting to check another first floors room to see if it’s accessible, the other rooms were infested with bugs, all over the floor and furniture.
As I was sitting in the lobby processing my refund online, The front desk attendant kicked me out.
This place is so dirty.

Elevators do not work and hasn't been. The lady at the front made it seems like it just happened. But from previous reviews, it's an ongoing problem.
I think the health department needs to visit this place and you won't get a hot breakfast because there is no way that that place is clean enough to even serve people anything let alone coffee in the lobby.
The breakfast they talk about is a two pack muffin and like I said coffee that I dare you to drink
