Downgraded and not compensated

I paid and checked in for a double queen deluxe room on the app. We chose room 224. They never sent me my room key number on the app. I went to the front desk and she gave me a key. When we walked off I realized it said room 442. I went back and ask why it changed. She said the other room was double booked, but not to worry I was in the same type of room just another floor. When I go to the room it was a much smaller double queen room. I messaged the front desk and she told me the original room had a leak and they had to switch me. (Different story from the original) I ask to be compensated the difference in room and was upset they didn’t tell me I was actually downgraded. She wouldn’t give me the difference in price but offered me free breakfast at the restaurant grill. With some back and forth that is all the would offer. They downgraded my room and hoped I wouldn’t notice and were not willing to do anything but offer a breakfast for that.

The property was great and the hotel was wonderful. My only complaint was the parking. My mother is 88 and there was no surface parking so I had to park in the parking garage. But, the parking elevator was not working. So each time we left and returned, I had to leave my Mom sitting in the lobby until I either retrieved and/or parked the car.

Was a very nice hotel. Staff was great and friendly and hotel and rooms were very clean. Parking was a bit confusing at first. But overall, it was great.

Parking was a bit of a pain from Friday through the weekend because they share the lot with the other restaurants on the property , everything else was great with the hotel except the beds are quite firm , I like a softer mattress so sleeping was a little tough for me and my partner

We liked the hotel well enough- staff was friendly. Barely any parking even though the hotel is huge. Barely any carts to bring luggage up to the room. Surrounding area noisy and overcrowded. Rooms clean and tidy.
