For the low nightly price, we were pleased with the clean comfortable bed, silky-feeling sheet and hot comfort breakfast. We just needed a place to rest and we found it. On other hand, room was outdated but it was fine with us because there were no bad odor in the room. Location is safe, plenty of free lighted parking space and many nearby restaurants in the area. Staff is easy to talk to.

I stayed at the Edison Hotel in Dallas, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The towels were in terrible condition — rough and uncomfortable to use. To make things worse, there were loud noises in the middle of the night (around 3 a.m.) that made it hard to sleep. When I asked about checking out just 10 minutes past the 11 a.m. checkout time, I was told I’d be charged a late checkout fee. The front desk staff wasn’t welcoming at all, which made the situation even more frustrating. Breakfast was another letdown — the scrambled eggs were soggy, overcooked, and tasted awful. Overall, this hotel needs major improvement in cleanliness, hospitality, and food quality. I would not recommend staying here.

Staying here literally gave me a headache and there was a lingering maybe wet odor. I had to buy some febreeze. This stay threw my sinuses out of whack and it was not the weather. I would not recommend unless they do some cleaning updates.

We found a big cockroach on the ceiling near the TV area. After calling the front desk to notify them. They said they didn’t have anyone that could help us to take it away. Luckily, we were visiting family and they brought some spray to kill it and take it away.

Comfortable room. Nice desk area. Sofa with ottomans. Bedside tables on each side of the bed. Nice clean bathroom. Overall, the room was in excellent condition. The staff at the front desk was friendly. I liked the extra touch of providing fresh popcorn and iced water with lemon. Breakfasts were very good with lots of excellent choices and a varied cooked manu. The hotel location is excellent, but conveniently situated off the main road. Easy parking. This was a very nice hotel.

The hotel was old, and the bed was the worst part. It squeaked terribly - kept me up all night every time my husband would move. Did not eat breakfast, so cannot comment. There was some mold in the shower, not a ton. The room was not cleaned every day and there were not sufficient washcloths and soap to use for our 3-day stay. The people staying in the hotel were a bit scary. While we did not have any interactions, one lady was screaming at the top of her voice at 2 a.m. in the hallway. It went on for twenty minutes. Not our type of hotel we usually stay in.
