Do not honor hotels.com status
Rating is zero. I did not get an upgrade and they had upgrades available and with my status I should've have an upgrade and a late check out but that wasn’t given to me even though they had rooms available. The staff knocked on my door continuously from 9 AM until 1 pm with a late check out I'm entitled to a 4 PM check out. To knock on my door seven times and call six times is unacceptable. I was also supposed to receive 20% discount on food with status and didn’t receive that either. This hotel is more of a 2 star hotel. Be warned.

Highly recommend in Dallas near SMU
Have stayed here multiple times and highly recommend. Across the street from SMU, convenient to everything in Highland Park, short drive to downtown. Small and intimate, but big enough for plenty of amenities.

Located next to SMU in a quiet place with pool and bikes available. Restaurant/bar on site and very convenient to Snyder Plaza, however it’s under construction.

This is not a four-star hotel. The A/C is loud and wakes you up during the night. Water pipes bang during the night. The closet has two or three hangers available. There is noise in the front rooms from traffic on Hillcrest Avenue. Service in the restaurant was poor. Lampshade had hole in it, was hung crooked, and the light bulb was burned out. Furniture was unimpressive. Have been twice billed a "property amenity fee" and have no idea what this is. Over priced and overrated. Will not stay there again.

The lack of parking, & "expensive" valet only option is not what I preferred traveling for work. The staff worked with me on this which I appreciated after a very long day. The location is fantastic. Very good food options driveable within minutes. SMU campus across the street...also very handy. I highly recommend the breakfast from the on site restaurant. Loved that! If work brings me back here Ill definitely consider staying again! Thank you.
