During my recent stay at the Wyndham hotel in Dallas on the 29th, I encountered several issues that fell significantly below the standards I have come to expect from Wyndham. Upon arrival, the first impression was less than welcoming, with the sliding doors to the lobby visibly held together by tape, creating a disorienting entrance experience. The condition of the carpet, both in the hallway and in my room, was in dire need of cleaning, contributing to an overall unkempt appearance.
The room itself presented a series of discomforts; it was uncomfortably warm upon entry, with a pervasive smell of mildew that suggested a lack of proper ventilation or maintenance. The bathroom floor was not only dirty but the walls throughout the room were marked with filth, indicating a neglect in regular upkeep. Most disappointing was the state of the sofa bed, which was both stained and emitted an unpleasant odor, rendering it completely unusable for my stay. The bed was also very uncomfortable.
Such conditions are far from what I would expect from a hotel under the Wyndham brand, known for its commitment to quality and comfort. The overall presentation and cleanliness of the hotel were profoundly disappointing, and it is with regret that I must express my dissatisfaction with this experience. It is my hope that Wyndham will take immediate steps to address these issues, to restore the high standards of hospitality and service that should define every guest's stay.
