Do not book this hotel if you want to be appalled by poor quality and dirty rooms. Upon arrival my husband and I were greeted unprofessionally as the night desk staff barely got off their chairs to check us in, and one was even carrying on a personal conversation on speaker their cellphone. Then directed to my room on the first floor the hallway had open ceiling tiles from what appeared to be water leaks with nothing covering the construction mess and appeared in shambles. Towards the end of the hall large mosquitos were flying around the back door. Entering our assigned room: the bathroom had hairs in the sink, the counter was dirty, and while I didn’t open every towel but several towels & wash cloths also had hair strands among them that were not our own. When we pulled back the blankets on the beds we were shocked to find stained dirty bedding and hairs amongst the bed linens. Lamp shades were ripped, one metal lamp was visibly rusting. I was able to ask for linen replacements that while were clean however they too had permanent stains on them. The curtains on the windows were also stained. The beds were uncomfortable. You could hear any movement made by other guests elsewhere in the building. The tv didn’t work. And to top it off we were awoken in the middle of the night by an alarm set most likely by the previous guest. The only positive experience was the AC unit in the room worked extremely well & was quiet. We do not recommend anyone to stay at this location.

Upon arrival at the property we noticed two large holes in the ceiling Sheetrock exposing pipes and wires. The further we walked down the hall to our room, there was another hole in ceiling with a significant water stain. We entered our room to find paper on the floor, significant dings and stains on the wall, a less than pleasurable room, stains on the curtains, stains on the beds and towels and an air conditioner that could barely push cool air. Our beds creaked, too. According to the note from the housekeeper, it said something like “I’ve cleaned your room from head to toe and hope you have an enjoyable stay”. Far from it housekeeper and hotel hosts…. Do better to represent LaQuinta and Wyndham brands!! You’d probably be better off sleeping in your car and saving yourself the money vs staying at this property which needs a major update and accountable staff saying what they've promised. Stay elsewhere (and no wonder why the other neighboring properties were sold out)!

Health code violations

Checked in as a family of 4 . Went to room and sheets had fresh yellow stains and black hairs on them. Went down to ask for a different room. Clerk let me know there are no others rooms. I asked if someone can come change the sheets and give us a discount. She said no discount and said we are welcome to change them ourselves. She then gave me 2 sets of sheets and wished me a good night. In the mean time my husband tried to find hotels around us and no luck. (Spring break) We teamed up and took the sheets off one bed and NOPE the mattress was beyond we might have to sleep in the car. We packed up and put the kids in the car. Now there was a line in the lobby of guests wanting refunds as their rooms were disgusting.

Breakfast disappointment

Room was good. Lobby is updated nicely. We were traveling and breakfast was important part of our decision to book here. At 7:30 we were met with empty food containers. There was a young girl refilling coffee. I asked if food was gone would it be refilled and she walked away without answering. A few minutes later she brought out 4 sausage patties. My husband mentioned his disappointment in lack of choices for breakfast she said "I'm the only one here".
