We had a large group and the suite was generously sized with room for everyone. The room was clean and well appointed. The refrigerator, stove, and microwave made it easy to store, prepare and enjoy our food. It was nice to have a balcony with seating to enjoy our direct view of the beach. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our stay was very enjoyable overall.

Pictures are deceiving

The places has not sound proof ceiling or walls, you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms or upstairs rooms. Air filters are filthy full of dust, the AC thermostats don't work. The breakfast was not continental and very poor on choices. Mario the front desk attendant was very understanding and accommodated us to another room, but still you can hear everything. This was a business trip.

Our room was way too small. The bed was so close to the window and curtain. There were three long dark hairs in the bed. The bed only has three pillows. Why not four when two guests were staying? My goal was to rest and not spend too much time out. But the room was so tiny I had not desire to be in it. There was one little chair to sit in and two of us. Also the pool was so small we didn’t bother with that either. If you are there to be busy and spend no time in the room then I guess it would be fine. But we had hoped to have a restful weekend in.

Spacious room and balcony with nice side view of ocean. Comfortable bed and good sheets. Towels were rather small. Convenient location across from ocean. Downsides: Spa jacuzzi was not heated. Intermittent generator/compressor noise all night long. Very basic continental breakfast with no non sugared protein.

My boss was taking clients and the rooms were old and not as presented online. He was embarrassed to say the least. We were not provided a refund from management. My boss had his two clients pack up and they went to stay at another hotel.

Nice staff. The room they gave me first was so small there’s no way we could stay there. Upgraded to a better room and it was OK. Several power outlets didn’t work, the phone didn’t work. There was no soap. Very thin, old towels. No working remote for the TV. Lots of issues everywhere.

Our room was wonderful! We chose the ocean front room for our last day in California. It was a short walk to the beach. If you are expecting to get in your room a little early that may not happen, so that was disappointing.

The only thing I would suggest is that the furniture be upgraded. It’s not very comfortable. The staff were excellent, and the service was excellent.

This property is centrally located, easy to get to, and very clean. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Breakfast was basic: cereal, yogurt, fruit, packaged sweet rolls, and waffles. The check-in was easy and all the staff were friendly ad helpful. The property needs updates as it feels worn and sad. It is not quiet as it sits across from the beach and the Surfline track, which runs well into the night. Being across from the beach was great and were would stay again.

Nice place

Stayed here 1 night before catching an early ferry to Catalina. We had a front facing room with private balcony with a great very of the ocean. Hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. Located close to many shopping and food choices. Also very close to Dana Point Marina. Would stay here again
