Terrible customer service

I accidentally booked the wrong dates as the trip was last minute and due to an emergency. When I realized I called the hotel to change the date. They said they could not change the dates and could not give me a refund- hotels.com had to. I called hotels.com and they said the hotel had to approve the refund. So I ended up having to pay for 2 nights at a hotel I never even went to. I will never use hotels.com to book and Dana point hotel staff was rude and dishonest and not somewhere I would ever recommend based on the service.

Front desk is very welcoming and helpful. My room was okay…didn't appear to have been vacummed or wiped down. Last day huge roach in bathroom. Front desk was prompt in taking car of that and comping my parking for entire stay. They do tell you in advance limited housekeeping.

Except location everything else is terrible!

I have learned that the property is going to undergo a major renovation by the end of the year. I wish I knew that before I reserved the rooms. I can’t say anything bad about employees but condition of the rooms with spiders inside the bed, phone doesn’t work, poor internet, linen is old…etc.

Location, location, location! I believe they are getting ready to tear the present Inn down and build a new state of the art Inn, as part of the Dana Point Harbour redo, therefore the Inn was not modern. Shannon, who checked us in, was wonderful and Diana, In charge of the wonderful breakfast included was also wonderful!

Another GREAT stay

Another GREAT stay at DPMI. Staff is consistently EXCELLENT, friendly, efficient. walking distance to so many relaxing places. and for the summer till labor day, a really fun FREE trolley service around DP, laguna, and laguna niguel.

AFourth for the Ages!

It was my Mom's 95th 4th of July & so you have to make every 1 count for you never know when it will be her last. There was a real easy straight away I could wheel her in her wheelchair along the boat dock & over the bridge to see the fireworks. Thank you Dana Point Marina Inn for being SO accessable & making this 1 of our cher8shed memories!
