The only thing I'll say is be very focused on what kind of room you choose. There are three different buildings and three different room configurations. Not all one bedrooms are alike. If you book on Expedia you have to be careful what you might wind up being assigned. Some rooms have a separate bathroom from the one bedroom and some configurations have the bathroom in the bedroom and all of this is important depending on how many people and who is in your party. So I would suggest reserving with the actual Hotel itself and making sure you get the exact configuration to accommodate your guests as needed. Other than that, people are wonderful and it's so cool near Doheny beach where you can watch the surfers. And also in the central building the elevator has been out on and off for 3 years so that's another situation where you have to be vigilant because you don't want to be in the building without the elevator if you have transportation and disability needs.

Room was nice and clean. View of the ocean from balcony. But no privacy wall between neighbor's on that part of the building. 1 bedroom with comfortable king bed. Sink and vanity in there was a nice extra. Everything worked. My grip is only 1 nite stand. There should be one on each side of the bed. Big tub and nice shower. My grip is not enough towel racks. Pool towels, bath towels, bathing suits. They don't want them on the balcony but one hook and one rack is not enough. Pool was warm and lots of lounge chairs with umbrellas. The Jacuzzi was hot but too much chlorine. Burned my eyes and didn't stay in very long. Over all nice. Across the street from the ocean and 10 min from Dana Pt Harbor

One of the cleanest hotels I have been in and the room had all the accommodations for cooking and the beach. I would definitely stay here with my family again.

What a great place! We’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it immensely this time as well. We had a nice room in the first building with the fantastic ocean view. We also were able to get out and enjoy the pool which was really nice. Michelle was very welcoming and professional and answered our questions. Her demeanor and calm but can do attitude was a deciding factor in my decision to join the Hilton Rewards program. We are already planning our next visit-go!

The view from the balcony is amazing. Unobstructed views. Ocean waves crash on the rocky beach of Capistrano. The pools at the resort are great as us the parking. There is a lot of noise during the day. Traffic on Coast Highway is heavy and the Surfliner and Coaster commuter trains run on the tracks alongside PCH, but the view is wirth

Room was clean and large, view was fantastic. Only one functioning elevator in three buildings made it difficult to unload car. It was a chaotic bottle neck of people and luggage waiting and waiting for an empty elevator!!! Was supposed to get a text when our room was cleaned and avaliable. Text was never sent by the front desk, so we were late checking into our room. This resulted us getting stuck in the middle of the bottleneck. Not a great start to our vacation. But everything else was wonderful.

A cheeky $27 “resort fee” for a small pool on the main road. My room had ZERO natural light, it was a dark dungeon with a picture of the beach hung outside the window. Check in delayed until 4m, while the concierge tried to sell me on a vacation package !
