The hotel is an older one but still nice. The staff was so helpful and very nice. We chose the hotel for its outdoor pool area. The pool could use new lounge chairs, the ones there are dry rotting and not sturdy. The rooms were useable but a little outdated. We did switch our room because the first room smelled pretty musty. The staff was awesome and showed us two other rooms, we went with one that didn’t smell. We enjoyed our stay and works go stay again.

Great place for family staff is so friendly and accommodating the minute you check in Diane was at the desk just so inviting and welcoming …we were looking for a family gathering ite for the holidays I think we definitely found it!!

Room 109 on 1st floor of tower needs furniture updated. Bed mattress was shaped like a bowl. Needs to be replaced. Toilet won’t flush fully unless handle is held down for entire flush. Complained about it but they couldn’t fix it. Outdoor furnishings by pool need to be wiped down daily. Cleaning people doing room were excellent.

Most things were good. Unfortunately, the matress was shot. It felt like it was jumped on by a thousand horses. The edges were intact, but the center was shot. It was sunken in the middle like a bowl.

Had a pleasant enough time. Easy on & off the highway if just passing through as we were, but while everything was clean, it was very dated. Carpets were older, not well padded. Could use a coat of paint. Common area couches could use upgrades. Mattress was older, and probably should be replaced. Walls were fairly thin & I woke up earlier than I wanted, to the sound of a baby crying in the next room. Room & King Size bed were sufficient size.

A resort like Atmosphere on an affordable hotel

This hotel has it all..beautiful clean rooms,a spa like atmosphere..with a pool kept impeccably clean by Peter snd his team..contentious caring management team including Diane Kayla and Christene...led by Manager Senka Thompson...they treat you like family and learn to know their guests needs and wants. Tge hiusekeeping staff is friendly and contientious of their duties. I just spent 8 days their and felt lije i was on an Island resort. The hotel has a bar restraunt on the facility called Vans that offers bar pizzas and burgers. It is also centraly located to many lical restraunts and shopping facilities as well as Candlewood Lake Great for kids and adults. This is my go to duri g the summer weekend getaways... Go see the team and the pool.
