Datça’da bu ölçüde merkezi bir konum tarif edebilmek imkansız gibi; odanın tefrişatından zarafetle kurulan düzenine kadar her detay kusursuzdu. Balkonunu süsleyen canlı çiçeklerinden, başka hiçbir otelde rastlamadığım derin bir düşünceliğin eseri olan deprem çantasına kadar her köşe, ince bir zevkin izlerini taşıyor. Girişten odaya adım attığınız andan itibaren sizi saran bu estetik atmosfer sayesinde otelden büyük bir memnuniyetle ayrıldım; şüphesiz ilk fırsatta yeniden konaklamak isteyeceğim bir yer.

Oteli pati dostu olduğu için tercih ettim. Ancak giriş sırasında oteli neden aramadınız, köpeği odada bırakamazsınız dendi. Hatta siz pahalı olan kedi köpek otellerine bırakmamak için yanınızda getiriyorsunuz bu hayvanı zaten yorumu yapıldı. Sonrasında teras kattaki odaya alabileceklerini oradaki odanın ses yalıtımlı olduğunu hiçbir sorun olmayacağını ilettiler. Ben de kabul ederek bu odaya yerleştim. Ancak sonrasında köpeğiniz tüm gün havladı diyerek şikayet edildi. Ses yalıtımlı oda olduğunu iletmiştiniz nasıl olur cümleme de biz onu küçük köpeklerin havlamasını tolere edecek şekilde yaptık bu kadar büyük köpekle de tatile gelinmez dendi. Köpeğim english setter orta ırk. Odada hiçbir ses yalıtımı da yoktu. Bütün gün terasa giren çıkanların sesleri, sokakta miyavlayan kedilerin sesleri, oynayan çocuk bağırışları cam kapalı olmasına rağmen odanın içindeydi. Evdeyken asla havlamayan köpeğim sürekli ses duyduğu için haliyle de havlamış. Tüm zamanlarda da bu sebeple kalp ve kanser hastası köpeğimi her gittiğim yere götürmek durumunda kaldım. Evcil hayvanıyla gelecek olan hiçkimseye tavsiye etmiyorum.
