I made a reservation through Expedia for a room when the motel was fully booked. I struggled to get a refund from Expedia. This problem was not the fault of the hotel, only to the extent that they have to deal with Expedia.

It’s the little things
This was just a quick stopover on our way home from vacation. At check in we were informed both the elevator and side door were out of order. Ok, we can climb the stairs. The room was large and clean. However, we were missing 1/2 of the sheer curtain. Got up the next morning and realized the blow dryer didn’t work even though I tried to reset the outlet, tried different outlets, etc. So, it’s a bad hair day. Ugh!

This property needs a real facelift soon. Our room was dirty with stained carpet, for example. The elevator was out of order and we got put on the third floor. When I asked to get a handicap room, they would not do it because I booked with Expedia. Total BS. Even the emergency exit door on the ground floor was out of order. What the heck?

Elevator was out of order which was problematic because I have a foot fracture and was wearing a boot! Neither Handicap room, nor first floor room was available.
