Limited hot water, dirty carpets in stairwell

No elevator and the stairwell carpets need cleaning. No security cameras by the well-worn side exit doors. Paint splatters on the hall carpets. Paint splatters on bathroom door, missing grout in bathroom tiles. Hot water only for 30 seconds. Room clean & neat, floor beat-up.

They are cheap, they turn the hot water off at night, and turn it on at 7AM. Not a problem unless you're an early riser. I took a few "Barely Warm" showers. Not my favorite way to start the day. Good location, though. Not the best value overall

The price was great. The toilet was cracked at the bottom and the drapes were frayed and torn. My feet were filthy walking on the floor, indicating it had not been mopped in some time. There were strange oily substances on the bedside table drawers. All that said, I thought the staff that was there at night was very friendly.

I booked two rooms for four nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were given rooms on the second floor. I asked where the elevator was and was told there wasn’t one. I explained that we had an elderly guest who couldn’t use stairs and requested rooms on the first floor. They said none were available. When we got to the assigned rooms, one of the doors was wide open, which immediately raised safety concerns. Given the lack of accessibility and this alarming discovery, I decided not to stay and booked another hotel within 10 minutes of arriving. When I went to the front desk to request a refund, they told me the rooms were non-refundable. Only after I explained we were leaving did they offer rooms on the first floor—by then, I had already made other arrangements and no longer felt comfortable staying. Since then, I’ve tried multiple times to resolve this. The manager avoided my calls for days, and when I finally reached him, he told me the owner would not approve a full refund and refused to let me speak with the owner directly. I paid for four nights in two rooms that I never used due to accessibility issues, safety concerns, and poor customer service. All I want is a fair refund.

Outside of property was falling apart , bricks were falling from columns. Inside room, floor was not swept up and had visible floor stains that could have been cleaned with a good mopping.

The room clearly wasnt cleaned before. There were parts of the floor that had water damage which was never repaired and also areas of the floor that werent mopped. When I arrived the toilet was not flushing properly. When I told the front desk, they just handed me a plunger. The lady had no intentions of making things right. The hallways smelled terrible. In fact, they had an air freshener plugged in on the floor in the hallway by the rooms.As far as noise, between babies crying, dogs barking in the next room and the herd of people either slamming doors or stampeding through the hallways after 10pm, there also was no quiet time enforced during sleeping hours. If I could give this negative stars, I would. For $285 for 2 nights, you would expect all of that to not have happened.
