This is our 2nd stay in 2 weeks. They did a very good job remodeling the hotel. Everything was clean and tidy and the Nespresso machine was a classy touch (between the larger pods need a large cups- today user error). The pool was warmer than we like for those hot Florida days, but the ocean is nice and cool. Staff was so attentive, my husband put the do not disturb sign up not knowing we needed the floors swept (it’s sandy duh the beach is right there) and we called the front desk and they sent someone to clean the whole room. No complaints. Try the Cracked Egg for breakfast and lunch it’s right across the street. We got Jett’s pizza delivered, it is true deep dish style pizza-so yum. We will be back.

Nicely remodeled motel, exceptionally clean. Price was very competitive with older, run down motels in the area. Well worth spending the few extra dollars for the experience. Staff was both helpful and friendly. The manager introduced himself and asked if our stay was good and asked if we needed anything more to make our experiance better. Check in and check out was both very efficient and quick. The pool and deck were comfortable and clean. Pool was nice. Beach access was excellant. My son lives in the area and I will definitely consider returning to the Ambros when visiting with him.

Ambros was amazing! I will definitely stay here again! The staff was super friendly, the rooms were nice and clean, and comfortable beds! We brought our dogs with us and were placed on a first-floor room which was super convenient. My only complaint about my pups was the closet grass to walk them to was across the street from the hotel, which is not their fault, but something to keep in mind if traveling with pets. The bathrooms were spacious, there is direct beach access, and the pool was super clean and the perfect temperature.

The property is perfect completely updated and very comfortable. We only had a couple of days to re-up our minds and we found the place....close enough to the crazy in D'tona but close enough to get out in the evening.

The staff made us feel comfortable and were very accommodating to any of our needs. The room is was beautiful and clean not what we expected at all. We had absolutely no issues with our room nor the staff. Meagan the housekeeper was friendly informative and deserve's a promotion. She really takes her job serious. The front office is beautifully designed with a nice sitting area. As for the staff you have Marina very professional, friendly, and will greet you with a smile when you check in. In the office overnight you'll have Chris there who walks the property and is professional, friendly, and he takes pride in his work. This is a beautiful spot to stay at if you're looking for a clean room, good staff, clean swimming pool and right on the beach. True peace and tranquility. Stay here

Wonderful stay, front desk staff was the best ever, so professional and friendly. Such a nice experience !! Room was very clean and beds were comfy, AC worked fantastic. Never used the pool deck but the facilities were beautiful, wonderful ocean front view. Cleaning staff was right on for anything at all you might need. Even though I own a condo up the street I chose this hotel while my AC was being fixed, what a great choice, couldn’t have been more satisfied !! A good restaurant right across the street. I HIGHLY recommend the Ambros Hotel 👍

A recently refurbished property which is extremely clean and very modern looking. A great location at a very nice price for a quick getaway. We had trouble with an A/C unit that did not allow us to get the room cooled down enough, so we contacted the front office, and although the staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful, we were unable to get the unit to cool further, as the thermostat did not allow us to drop the temperature. We also had an issue with the bottle of shower gel being empty. Doesn't sound like a big issue until you're in the shower expecting to pump it out and use it. Went to office and they told us it WAS full, we used the hand soap at the sink instead. Overall, an ok visit. Perhaps as time goes on the "kinks" in the system will work there way out.
