It was under construction and it didn’t state that until I arrived 17 hours away from home and seen it on the door. I wouldn’t have booked if I knew it was under construction. The price is too high to deal With the construction sounds and mess

My experience I purchased (2) rooms from Expedia and added a note asking could they be close to one another. I booked for two adults and four children under 15, check in is at 3pm… We enjoyed a couple hours on the beach then I walked into the hotel to check in at 4pm. I was only given one room at this time an hour after check in, I was then informed they were still cleaning. Around 6 we returned for the other room. They put one room on the 7th floor and the other on the second floor. We have four kids with us , I asked could they possible help getting us closer? We were supposed to have two rooms each having two queen sized beds. They made some arrangements and placed us on the second floor but each room only had one King bed no pull out couch, definitely not two queen beds. I called the front office explained the situation then they wanted to send us back to the 7th floor where we just came down from. I gave up and just said we’re done moving our belongings back and forth we just want to get settled. We made beds on the floor for the kids. Then at 9pm they checked a random person into the room our kids were sleeping in!!!!!! My daughter came over panicked. I just can’t understand how everything was so disorganized. The person helping us even sent another staff member upstairs to check the rooms before hand , to make sure they had pull out couches. He came back into the lobby assuring they did, ????? Where did the pull out couch go ???

Fairly decent motel. They’ve gone through a lot of refurbishments from hurricane Milton. Our room was freshly painted with new carpet. Linens were white and nice and clean. Nice large room. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing super fancy but clean.

It is under construction, but honestly everybody there was very nice from the staff at the front office to the actual workers doing the renovation. I definitely will be back at that hotel if I stay in the area again.

The hotel was right off Route 95 so easy to find. The beds were comfortable. The shower had good pressure. I didn’t read the ‘amenities’ list thoroughly so I didn’t know that there are no microwaves in the rooms. There also is no coffee maker. I wrongly assumed there would be both. We are late night eaters, we go to local restaurants for a couple cocktails then bring supper back to the hotel and heating it in the microwave. The desk clerk said that there was one in the lobby that we could use but we were on the fifth floor and didn’t feel like using the microwave in the lobby then carrying it up to the fifth floor. Also, for coffee, they state that it is available all day but, again, from the fifth floor in the morning, I like to brew a cup before we get going. The breakfast was basically bagels and cereal. Because of the lack of microwaves and coffee makers in the rooms, I probably will not be using Hilton products from how on.

The hotel view was remarkable. Our room was recently remodeled and wonderful. The cleaning staff started really early even with a noon check out. The beach was easy to access, and it was a short walk to the mini downtown. As of March2025 the construction is downplayed a bit. Expedia had no mention of construction, and the Hilton website just said exterior minor construction. Sadly, the patio was closed off most of our first day to be repainted. The pool was dangerous to sit near since there were men working & had tools near that section. Scaffolding, repairs & noise starts early and goes until sundown. Some guests had these painters block off their balconies during their stay. The parking garage under the hotel was very scarily in construction with missing roof pieces, wires hanging, construction materials and debris not necessarily blocked off safely. We are thankful the stay was clean and room was neat. Thankfully, the staff was kind but they also didn't care to know the noise of their construction crew ruined our morning sunrise enjoyment. As Hilton rewards members we were harassed with text messages to review the stay, but no one wanted to actually chat with us. Hilton's website notice about construction "may be present" didn't give us the impression of the reality that everything was being painted, lounge chairs unavailable, beach showers unavailable, moving furniture noise started every day early. Sunrise was at 7:20-30 during our stay.
