I love the location, the pool and spaciousness of the rooms in this hotel. However, little things drove me crazy like no full length mirror—only a small one above the small bathroom sink; terrible lighting, especially no light switch in the bedroom which meant walking all the way to the nightstand to turn on a lamp; water pressure for shower was abysmal; shower curtain rod was slanted so it kept sliding away from the wall. The biggest drawback however, is the parking lot which must be meant for small cars. The spots are small and you have to carefully angle into them between posts in the covered parking area, and thru small lanes for the outside area.

Staff was very helpful. Room was clean and updated. We had an issue with the shower but they were unable to fix because a whole new unit would have to be installed. So it worked only half the time. But other than that it was a nice vacation.

I was happy with the overall stay. The room was a good size with a nice set-up. Overall pretty clean but could use a little more attention to the walls near switch plates. Even though I didn't book an ocean front room I could see the ocean from the bedroom window and from the front window.

Excessive noise all hours of the night, no security. No one onsite to call about issues at night. Locals using pool services like a free for all. Kids and adults peeing in the shower from the beach. No supervision. The room was nice and clean, house keeping was great. Just the excessive noise and locals using the facilities without staying at the hotel. When this was brought to front desk attention after seeing someone urinating in the shower, we were told they couldn’t do anything about it because the only maintainence Person was cleaning the bathroom.

The staff was nice and knowledgeable of the area. The beds were comfortable. The parking was very tight and compact. We saw a couple of roaches in our room. We had a tiny kitchen but there was nothing but a single pot to cook in. We had to go out to buy a frying pan.

This was a classic old-style beach-front hotel that appeared to be under new management and has gone through an extensive renovation that was done fairly well. This was a suite that included a separate bedroom and a kitchenette with full-size refrigerator, which provided plenty of room. Bed was comfortable, AC worked well, free breakfast was okay, microwave has minimal power, there was a minimum of dinnerware, silverware and cookware, which made some food preparation challenging. Good location, good beach access, simple but nice pool area, staff was very friendly. Summary, some pros & cons, but an excellent value for a oceanfront one-bedroom. We enjoyed ourselves and plan on returning at some point in time.
