Ormond oceanfront, great experience

Very clean, bed comfortable, great oceanfront location, staff extremely friendly and helpful. This place is a gem!!

Overall, it was good. At this price, you can't expect a Marriott. We had a king bed with a kitchen. Note that there is a fridge, microwave, and counter hot plate, so you can prepare your own food, but there are no dishes or utensils provided. There's also nothing to clean the dishes with. The pool is open, which is unusual for beachfront hotels at this price, as they typically have their pools closed following the latest hurricane and shore destruction. This year in Florida, especially in this area, the weather is chilly. The way the rooms are angled at 45 degrees made it pleasant on the balcony, sheltered from the wind. Finally note that wifi is not working since a long time.

I get it. It’s bike week. But dang the room was nasty and in poor condition. Lights didn’t work and mirrors missing. No art at all or tv. Just scratched up white walls and dirty sheets.

It’s a great “basic” hotel. Older, clean, and when we needed maintenance in our shower he was quick to fix the issue. Definitely would stay here again.

It was fine. Very basic, sort of old and not really kept up…peeling paint, rusting knobs in the bathroom, hot water in the sink, but not in the shower, one, 8” round mirror in the room, over the bathroom sink. Nothing on the walls at all and the “balcony” is 2 chairs by the door to the room along the shared, outdoor walkway. They aren’t kidding about the limited parking. I was there in the off season and the lot was still over 3/4 full in the evening. That said, it was inexpensive for the area. It’s away from the heart of the craziness of Daytona. There is a lot to do within just a few minutes drive. It’s right on the beach. It didn’t smell. The bedding and towels were clean. I saw no bugs. There’s an elevator. The loungers by the pool were in good shape. The pool was clean and again, inexpensive and ON THE BEACH. I wouldn’t be opposed to staying again.

Well, overpriced for what I had to deal with there was no furniture in this place whatsoever a bed and a cot was all that was in there. I had to get a mirror for them to put up and nowhere to put clothes. There was no furniture whatsoever. The noise from outside sounded like there were no windows in the place so loud.

Great place w/great potential after construction!

Great location! Great price! Great pool! Very spacious room! For having “resort” in its name, it needs some room items like coffee maker, toaster, maybe some plates/cups/utensils, table and chairs, curtains - with that it will a great resort. No breakfast but coffee machine in lobby is great. Great service!

The sheets had holes in them on the bed. There was no curtains, just holes in the wall where the curtain rod used to be. No bathroom mirror, again just holes in the wall where the mirror used to be. Bathroom sink had dirt inside of it, as well as the closet. There were now towels or washcloths provided. Tried to find someone to get some from, but no one was in the lobby. I’m not sure how this is considered a “resort” by any means

Rough hotel

Bathroom has a tiny mirror. Sand all over the floors. Our room was next to the elevator and we heard it all night. Neighbor has a dog that barked constantly. The last day we stayed we wanted to sleep in and were woken up by smoke alarms going off.
