The property needs a refurbishment. In general, it has a shabby feel. The air conditioner leaked all over the carpet, I don't know how many pairs of socks we went through. I was up most of night thinking about the bacteria and mold in the carpet and hearing all of the ticks and rattles from the AC unit. Hurricane Milton destroyed the beach and we were given no heads up about this fact. This is why we booked this precise location because of the photos online, showing the easy access. The front desk staff Jerry was very nice.

Enjoyed the balcony view. Was able to get to beach via different access point. The room was quite humid. Things felt wet. Not sure if this is normal for ocean area, because I have never been to the ocean.

When you see Wyndham that is what you are expecting when you pull up to the hotel…not a motel. I’m not picky by no means but when you see things online and that name that is what you are expecting and to get there with a different experience was disappointing. The name on the hotel was different Days Inn, Tropical Treasure with Wyndham really little as a logo. People standing outside smoking as you walk in to check in. Get to our room it reaks of smoke and the carpet is older than 20 years. The bathroom was very small. We had a balcony, the sliding door you had to really work it to open. It was a clean room. We left to go eat came back the door key would not let us back in, they said cause we let the card touch our cell phone and it wiped it. There was a dog that barked all night in room above us. It just was more motel experience than hotel. But it’s on the beach and if you want a balcony on the beach that’s affordable go for it.

Stayed at this property the first week of November 2024 during an unexpected motorcycle trip detour due to the weather. I choose this place mostly because they had a covered underground parking garage for my bike. I also considered that I had Expedia OneKey rewards that made the stay SUPER cheap (less than $25 out of pocket). The front desk checkin was super easy as they were not that busy, probably because it was off season. The room was clean and everything worked as expected (stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink, toilet, shower, door locks). Publix was one mile away and I stopped there to get everything that I needed for my stay. I would have been really let down if it were the prime summer time as the hot tub as inoperable and there was ZERO beach / sand area to enjoy.

Place was not bad but my sliding door is bolted shut, so I couldn’t open it for fresh air! There’s a couple of coffee shops and bars/restaurants a couple blocks away, but that’s it w/o getting in the car.
