The room was clean and the location was great. The big issue was parking. They only have a few spaces and have to double park everyone. So if you have to leave and you are parked in, you have to call the front desk and hope they can get in touch with person that parked you in so they can move the car. This really stressed me out as I had to leave for airport at 3 am. I was too stressed about this so I did not stay my second night and booked somewhere else that i knew I was not going to be parked in. The parking is the only reason I am not giving a better rating.

Rooms were extremely clean and very very comfy. The front desk gets everything u need. Totally awesome stay in from Tampa area so Daytona is stones throw away. It’s beach front so u can walk to beach in 1 min from the room. Only thing it needs is way more ample parking, but I understand. It’s a very small area where hotel is located

All of the above just said all of the above/in inadequate amount of towels., Lack of lamps, bedding could be upgraded, no bar soap for shower, needs a grab bar in the shower, rudimentary at best, coffee, mate, sugar, all hard, all hard, coffee, coffee, make sugar all hard. Price was outrageous for what we got, it was just a low class room with very few amenities. It’s been a long time since I’ve stayed in a place like that. Perhaps when I was in college 50 years ago. there was a lack of privacy because the drapes did not close. Had to use a hanger with the clips to keep it closed. Sorry, we won’t be back.

There was water under the laminate floor that would seep through and make your socks wet while walking in the room. There is a gap in the front door that allows the moist ocean air into the room making it very humid and making everything feel wet including the clothes in our luggage that wasn’t brought out yet. There was also white mold on the curtains by the front door, probably from the moist air coming in through the gaps.

The hotel is old but it is clean and is up to date on amenities. The only thing I disliked was that the curtains were small and I had to clothes pin them together so that anyone trying to peep couldn’t see in. There were no shades. The door is glass and didn’t seem to latch well. But it was beachfront and inexpensive. The city has taken most of the parking so you have to double park or pay. The inn has came up with what seems to be a good system of getting more parking. But to walk out and be 10 yards or so to the beach and the year around heated pool i would have paid if i had too. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.
