Weekend beach-cation

Had a great hotel stay!! Great check-in/out, delicious breakfast and the pool deck was open this time bc it was under renovation on my last visit. Just know that this hotel has no balcony furniture AT ALL so bring your own captain chairs if you plan on enjoying Daytona’s beautiful beach views from your balcony

Fantastic staff! Even with a check-in system glitch, they got me into my room quickly. When my TV wasn’t working, the front desk had it fixed the same day. Everything was ready when I returned for my sister’s wedding. Great service—I’d definitely stay again!

The hotel is in a decent location and the room was spacious. However, there wasn’t enough parking, only a few lounge chairs by the pool where there’s plenty of room to add more. No restaurant or bar service and the complementary breakfast was the worse. Not enough tables and chairs, no plates and glasses, ran out of OJ, ice water and decaf coffee. Also, no bread and the fruit was not good. Terrible experience in that aspect. We expected better from Hyatt.

We had a really good stay. The bad reviews (and many are wrong) are scary and I almost did not book here. Check in was easy. The staff are all very friendly. We were in room 612. Super Cold AC, Very hot shower, lots of TV channels. The beds were comfortable. We had a side view of the beach. The room was clean and we had no problems. The hotel was very quite. No slamming doors were heard. The last night, someone was smoking on their balcony so we didn't get to enjoy looking at the stars and listening to the waves. Breakfast was very good. We had bacon the first day and that was the best breakfast of our stay. I did not notice any leaks in the ceiling in the dining area. The breakfast is one of the best free breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. The hotel looks like it has been remodeled lately and is very clean. We did not see any of the problems that people complained about recently. The pool was great. The gate to the beach worked perfect. There was plenty of free parking. My only two complaints. 1. The milk wasn't cold enough. 2. They need free coffee in the lobby 24/7 We would stay here again.

My stay here was great! It was so quiet and the pool was amazing. There’s access straight to the beach and back. I also liked that right door there’s a little park for the kiddos! The only thing I didn’t like was that the balconies have no furniture to sit and enjoy the view. So just make sure to have your beach chairs with you, as I did!
