STAY AWAY

Stay away. This place isnt just run down, it is filthy. Inmade the mistake of walking barefoot. Had to scrub my feet to get clean.The staff was nice but seemed to be clueless. Either that or uncaring. It was cheap and thwnlocal was great but that was it. It was a cold weekend and we were offered a heater. Great but the room was so damp and stale, we needed ac to dry it out. Well there was no ac. I asked for it to be fixed or to borrow a fan. I was not understood. Desk kept telling me I couldnt switch rooms because there were none. Not what I was asking for. We would have found another room but were not offered a refund because of third party booking. I gave up, accepted that I needed to buy a fan. We did. Will never go back there. Not sure where all the good reviews came from. Locals said it used to be a nice place but in the past years it has been left to deteriorate. Pay a little more and go some where else.

Outlets were loose and old causing lamp to flicker and cell charger to be erratic. Shower head disconnected if pulled from bracket. Water flow from shower sprayed as if it were full of minerals. Old dental pick laying in middle of floor next to bed when I arrived. Microwave had insert from another brand and would not rotate when used. View was nice especially from the balcony. Interesting antiques throughout.

Old motel with nice furnishings.

The beds and television are the best part of this motel. The comforter was so thin, we were freezing all night. The building looks rough, but the rooms were nicer than expected. Great location and price !!

Needs work.

It is a low end hotel but needs work. In addition to items listed in photos, 2 non working lights. At least it was clean and not musty. 1 night was fine but unable to lock the sliding door is a concern.
No handle, no screen, no lock
No tp spindle, mismatched tank lid, shower rod at such a downward angle the curtain slides to the middle. Shower drains so slow up to ankles in water.

After taking my shower just walking from the bathroom to my bed to bottom of my feet were black. The tile flooring was slippery to carpet didn't smell Mel Dewey but it was not clean. The beds were very comfortable The mirror in the bathroom was about 10 in square

Run Forest Run.

I do not normally talk bad about motels but this place needs major upgrades. It’s an old old motel and everything needs to be upgraded. The security of the front doors are very questionable and the bathrooms require immediate attention. The staff is not very friendly or accommodating for a beach community area. They should sell to hippies and move to Orlando where they’d be more comfortable.

Gross, filthy, wouldn’t stay here for free

This place should not be listed with online booking sites. I booked 2 nights and didn’t even stay the second night even tho I didn’t have an option to get a refund. If it had been clean I would have been satisfied. But it was filthy, poorly set up, smelled awful.

I think the only reason it was enjoyable is because it’s walkable to local bars and restaurants and it is directly across from the beach. Other than the CRAZY holiday rates they throw out, the normal day to day rates are great for being across from the beach. Pretty solid and KIND staff though
