We loved the location on Main St. It was walkable. They have valet parking. We stayed during the week and it was quiet. Rooms are clean.

I really was impressed with the restaurant excellent food. I loved the casino on the premises with card games instead of all slot games. Both restaurant and casino right close without having to walk outside to get to them. Beautiful location right in the downtown gorge on main street. Right across the street from the saloon Wild Bill Hikcock used to frequent during the late 1800s.

Room was nice. Location right on Main Street of Deadwood. My non-smoking room stunk like smoke when you first walked in, but not too bad after being in room a while. We kept window open.

This property needs to be trained in courtesy and knowledge as to how to deal with people. Place in casino area very hot, hardly any air conditioning. Went to upstairs restaurant and rude help. Hot up there also. Lots of empty tables but needed to see if they had room for 3 at 7 pm. Girl at front desk not a people person! Would not recommend to anyone.

The valet staff was stellar. Friendly and accommodating. The rest of the staff weren’t very friendly. It’s loud until the bars close, but a fun spot and fairly affordable comparatively speaking.

Mineral palace stay July 11 through July 14, 2025

We had a very nice day in this downtown boutique hotel, where it was close to everything, the room was clean, the little chocolates at night were nice, they cleaned our room on day number three, had dinner at the Jim steakhouse twice and had a nice steak dinner And Gabby the waitress was very nice, had breakfast there twice and would recommend the food, Savanna, the hostess, Kelly insecurity, Marc and Dana at the front desk were always accommodating and nice, and we would return for sure !
