Dirty bathroom with an orange ring of scum around the tin and faucet. Never saw one room service person/ and the room was never cleaned. Horrible outdated key system that demagnetized 4x and I had to keep the card separate from my credit cards at all times. Ice machine broken. Vending machines gave the wrong drink. Tiny room, don’t be fooled by the website pictures. Nowhere near 400$ a night I don’t care what event is happening in deadwood. Never again.

The hotel was close to everything. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast was not really breakfast. Just cereal and oatmeal. Otherwise it was great.

In a pinch? It is fine.

Budget hotel at luxury prices. The property is a no frills hotel right off Deadwood’s main street. It can charge more for location, not for comfort. We will stay there again if everything else is full. There are many better options in Deadwood if you can plan ahead.

Excellent location, but noisy. Street noise, noisy garbage trucks and delivery trucks most mornings around 6:00 am. Rooms A/C wasn’t working so they had a portable A/C that worked but was taking up a bit of room. A sewer smell from the tub drain. Most mornings they ran out of food and or coffee. Staff was good and great location for day and night life.

This room was exactly what you need in Deadwood. Location,location,location. Rates weren't inflated for tourist season, room was clean, bathroom was huge, staff was helpful , this was a renovated building with history

Conveniently located. Free parking a 2 minute walk from the hotel but you can pull up outside the hotel for 20 minutes to unload/pickup. Room adequate for our needs. Keurig, fridge and microwave. Good size bathroom. Comfortable bed. Staff polite but did not interact - didn't mention points of interest/events/what is in the area. Breakfast was bagels, muffins, cereal, pancakes, yogurt. A few issues.....Items left in fridge from previous room occupants which I took to reception. The receptionist commented "yuk" but nothing further. There is no housekeeping as standard. We were there for a 3 night stay and I asked for housekeeping once (clean towels, bedding, toiletries). Housekeeping didn't come in even though we were out all day so no clean bedding and I had to take our used towels down to reception and ask for clean ones, extra toiletries etc. There is an offer which staff really should mention at check in but don't! You pay $15 per person which gets you a $20 dining credit for Mavericks Steak House and a $10 slot credit in the Gold Dust Casino. The food was great and we took advantage of the offer on 2 evenings of our stay (you can buy the offer as many times as you want). In summary, it's a decent hotel for what you pay. We didn't see the point in paying upwards of $50 a night for a 'better' hotel when we were out all day and just needed somewhere comfortable to sleep/shower/change.

Gold Dust.

Check in clerk rude.Requested rm service twice,no response.Had to get own towels and tp.Bathroom had mildew in shower,stains on floor,dusty shelf. Bed was comfy and clean. There was dirty sheets and towels and trash piled on the floor in front of elevator all day. Minimal breakfast. Lobby clean. 4 night stay. Last night parking lot full. Had to park 3 blocks away
