Staff was helpful and not rude (VERY important to me when traveling). Refrigerator, microwave and Wi-Fi all work. Shower water was hot (you'll need it). That said, everything else was terrible. I have traveled to Atlanta many times, so I'm not delusional when it comes to how rough parts of it can be. This was still by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had in the area. The room itself looked like it had hosted battle royals at one point; chipped and splintered door frames and walls. Most of the other guests obviously live there (or 'work' there, if you catch my drift); noise and shady activity all day and all night (where do I begin!!). I would never take my children here; I barely felt safe as a grown man. This is probably the last time I will ever use an OYO hotel.
I made a reservation for a queen size bed.
I arrived 30 minutes later and was told that that room was no longer available, but that for 20 dollars more I could have a room with a king size bed.
Classic bait and switch.
