Light up Driveway
The drive way entrance from the hwy is hard to see at night, so there is no lighted sign. There is a small sign there but it still hard to notice it from a distant. Maybe a light pole by the driveway would be helpful.

Showed up with a reservation at 4pm or so. Check in was at 3pm. After listening to guests in front of me complaining that they were given a dirty room with used sheets still on the bed. My time came to check in. I got my room, 2nd floor. Sir, by the way the elevator doesn’t work. Take the stairs and walk straight to my room which is open, trash on the floor, dirty sheets, just gross. So i went back down and actually asked to cancel my reservation. The lady was nice but she made every excuse in the world. Finally taking me to a room that was clean and on the 1st floor. I said fine. Turn the lights on and flickering bulbs. I have never been to a place with a high rating on here that was so terrible. The lobby/breakfast/lounge was dirty. All the tables were visibly dirty. Just wasn’t a great experience. I believe this hotel should maybe be a 5. Just maybe. It just felt gross.

Stayed at this Holiday Inn on a Tuesday night. Hotel seemed busy based on the parking lot. Gentlemen at the front counter was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and I liked the variety of programming on the television. If you're in Decatur it's the best choice

I had a decent night sleep. A pizza guy knocked on my door late like he was the cops but I didn’t answer as I had not ordered a pizza. The refrigerator was leaking all over the floor. The bathtub was leaking and the bathroom floor was dirty with footprints. I was so tired I just laid down for rest. The front desk acknowledged the issues that morning and were super ready to resolve the issue.

Pool disappointing.
My only complaint is that the pool water was green and when I asked for it to be cleaned. They put a sign out that said pool closed. Very disappointing as that was the main reason we booked the hotel. There was no compensation offered just I’m sorry!

The property is very worn. The shower fiberglass wall was broken, carpet stained. The parking lot had leaking water. My room smelled like insecticide. I would never stay there again.
