I basically came to sleep on my road trip. The hotel was very nice, either new or recently updated with nice colorful decor. However, the shower in the room (232) would not get hot (lukewarm at best) even though I waited for quite awhile. While I kept checking for the shower to get hot, the water sprayed out onto the floor outside the shower. Not a fan of these new low-step showers for this reason. Just a couple of other small things - ice bucket was in the bathroom. Seems germy. The luggage cart needed more padding on the rims and wheels to prevent scraping of the nice new doors and walls. The breakfast was nice. They had the Texas shaped waffles and scrambled eggs, and all the cold usuals. Overall it was very nice, except for the shower.
