It would be great if Steele Hotels put some money back I to the building itself. The water damage is very apparent. Painting is unfinished. The quality of breakfast food isn't good, particularly the hollandaise and ham. The cooking oil for potatoes was old. The king bed was very comfortable.

This hotel has a lot of history behind it but it's definitely old and outdated although the rooms were clean. We stayed there twice and the second time we got a more updated room. They have dining options but never dined there. It's conveniently located and walkable to many restaurants and stores and parking was free.

This iconic building is in a very nice setting and is conveniently located to stores and so forth.The staff were professional and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. The only issue we experienced with the hotel is the lack of soundproofing as we could hear literally every sound from the room above us.
