Location is awesome. Hotel staff was helpful, service was excellent. We liked the patio area with fire pit and comfortable chairs. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Many places to eat within walking distance. Hotel is dog friendly for a fee.

My family and I are regulars at the Del Mar Beach Hotel because it is fabulous. It is the quintessential old school family owned California beach hotel. Completely renovated in with a classic beach palette and with the most comfortable beds on Earth. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. You'd expect to pay far more to stay at a place on the sand in San Diego. . . especially one that makes you feel like it's your home away from home.

We’ve had the joy of watching the hotel evolve over the years, always improving while still holding onto the charm and warmth that made us fall in love with it. From the beautifully maintained grounds to the attentive and welcoming staff, everything about the Del Mar Hotel is what we love. You’ve created a place where memories are made; mornings on the patio drinking our coffee from your espresso machine, walks on the beach, and evenings watching the sunset and listening to the ocean.
