Last minute booking for one night. The hotel needs a lot of upgrading. I would say it’s more suitable for work crews or hunting crews. Not for the one night traveller. Not a place I would care to hang out to relax.
This Studio 6 in Del Rio Tx, is in need of serious renovations. The room where we stayed should of not been made available to the public. The motel is dated, dirty, and smells of disinfectant combine with mildew. The bathroom was appalling and mold was around the tub. The carpeting was filthy and needed to be replace. I often stay with this chain of Studio 6 because of there kitchenette but this one the cabinets below where rotten, with a big hole in the bottom of the shelve. The microwave oven, stove was still filthy. We were horrified. Motel Studio 6 can do better.
First of all when I got there the gentleman at the front was on the The phone and just handed me my room key . Not even greeting me or telling me where my room was located at?they usually do its Just common curtesy.This was not a pleasant stay the phones in the room don’t work and took a bath in cold water” because the hot water didn’t work either . The light in the living room area didn’t work either . I stayed two nights no one came to clean my room or bring me more towels I had to buy my own toilet paper as well. There was a bush beer can under the tables in the room so that’s how you know the rooms aren’t properly cleaned . I will not stay there ever again .
Michelle was really nice and helpful but the cleaning ppl didn’t clean our room there was no toilet paper the night we got there the sink the shower and the toilet were clogged if it wasn’t for Michelle I think I would have got a different hotel

The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The rooms were ok just need a bit of a remodel and the facilities will be outstanding.
Value pricing if you must have a kitchen I guess but very very poor condition of property. Gotten worse over the past two years. Broken tub stopper with tape on it on the floor. Broken door lock. Lock only locks from the inside. Give it a push from the outside! 144 No after hours staff. I was given a telephone number upon checkin but no answer when I called it having problems with my room door. This is a major liability issue. Also, bed spring broken. Never again. Will report to corporate
Either the Hotel or Expedia had an issue with my employees check in. He called me concerned he did not have a room and didn't know where he would stay. The lady was not only rude to hime at first, but basically told him he didn't have a room and left him stranded. Minutes later I realized I had missed his phone call and he explained this to me. I had to wast an hour of mine and his time starting at 10:45 to finally have her show up for us to get information from her stating that we booked a room for the day before...
I booked it the day of and obviously my confirmation stated the correct days and a confirmation number she claims she didn't see. Finally she blamed it on someone else and said she would call expedia to figure it out. I don't have time for this and I expect when my guys show up to a room they get to go to sleep. We all work very hard and I think its a simple expectation for things to go right for my guys when they show up to a hotel...
I am not a fan of yesterdays service.
We had water leak in the bathroom toilet and did not get fixed right away. I had to clean all the water out myself. The floors did not get broomed when house keeping passed by and didn't get more toilet paper either. Never again.
Very kind and helpful staff. We were supposed to go to and were booked for studio 6 but their was no one at the desk for check in and only a number to call if your locked out of your room. We changed our booking and came back to motel 6 where the staff was freindly and accomodating and matched the room for the night. The motel wsd in a great place for food and access to our needs I plan to use it every time we go to DelRio from now on.

This hotel was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I didn’t even sleep there. I checked out after the first night that’s how bad this hotel was. No one was at the front desk after 10 pm for any sort of customer service. I couldn’t get anyone to answer my call so I could check out so not to be charged for the unused days that I had to call Hotel.com for customer service. Would never recommend this motel chain to my worst enemy. The slogan used, “We’ll leave the light on for you,” is what needs to be done to see how many bugs scatter in the room as you enter.
