The Ambassador is rated a 5-star hotel but it is closer to a 3.5 star. It's an old worn property, and the room decor is spartan at best. One shining spot however is the breakfast buffet which includes good variety and quality of dishes.

Nice stay but areas for improvement.
This hotel is quite nice and a bastion of calm from the hubbub of the city. Great breakfast. Areas for improvement: interiors need an upgrade. Peeling paint. Soft beds. Old carpet. Also the pool was inoperable.

Slightly dated property. But was very clean. The staff where extremely helpful at all times.The food is top quality but a little on the expensive side. 2 meals and an alcohol drink 10000 rupees or £100. The breakfast that was included innthe booking was full of different foods. Bacon and sausage. Ommlete to indian breakfasts. All again top quality. Enjoyed my stay.

location is the biggest favorable point for the property. surrounding shopping area and Lodhi garden are two main attraction. Hotel can do better with breakfast options and the sitting area- doesn't give the feel of a Buffet spread as adequate. The pool has been under renovation for a long. The gym is very very rudimentary and too small too. they can sure do better by improving buffet breakfast, Gym and pool. They can do better with complimentary toiletries which are not provided in full till you ask.
