Probably more of a tourist hotel.

The hotel room was a bit tired and would benefit from an update. I think this is more of a tourist hotel than a business hotel. The staff were professional and welcoming. I waited almost 30 minutes for a black coffee with milk on the side at breakfast, but everything else was ok.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We found the hotel a calm oasis away from the busy city of Delhi. The restaurants and bars lacked a little atmosphere, that is why we have marked 4 overall but I would recommend

Excellent hotel....few improvement suggested

Excellent stay....only disappointment is if you have ordered something via zomato....you have to go all the way upto hotel entry point near car check to collect you stuff.....would suggest if not send it to the room atleast delivery cam be taken at reception

Centrally located in New Delhi. Convenient location near markets and sightseeing but secluded, safe and quiet. Breakfast and dinner buffet is diverse and delicious, there is also a bar, gym, pool and spa. Courteous and helpful staff, definitely my home base whenever I'm in Delhi.

The property is right in the center of New Delhi with all the government and other big company offices. You just can’t see them because the streets are tree lined. The hotel is gated so you feel safe and secured inside. However when you try to walk outside. It’s a little bit sketchy… homeless people. I tried their spa and it was clean and service is first rate. The only thing is that there is a water drain that emits some smell. Overall, service is great.

It’s reasonable price with good location

Hotel is in a darker area of the city at night and not somewhere I might consider venturing out. Hotel itself has the usual security team checking all vehicles entering the property. Hotel room is clean and modern. Didn’t eat in the restaurants so no comment on those but did order some food to room and that was okay. Didn’t have time to use spa facilities.

Great place to stay

Everyone at The Met made our stay very comfortable. We stayed 3 times here during this India trip. The staff at the reception, baggage desk, housekeeping & restaurant were all so courteous & friendly. Their breakfast buffet is the BEST. Going to stay here for all our future trips to Delhi.

Comfortable stay

Excellent service and great food but cleanliness is to be improved. Please reduce plastics also. Most good hotels now have pump soap, lotion and shampoo instead of small plastic bottles and glass containers of water. Also there should be no alcohol in the fridge when there are minors in the rooms.

Older hotel

So when I booked this hotel on hotels.com, the price was less and what they charge me at the hotel was way more expensive. They also charged me at the check-in the full amount instead of check out. Also they were charging for everything including potato chips etc inside the room, nothing is complimentary, which you would expect in India. Overall okay experience.

We arrived at 5am as our flight was cancelled, the manager allowed us to keep the room until 4pm free of charge and also included a complimentary breakfast. Both really appreciated after our delayed journey. In all excellent customer service.
